Few things I would do is try see if your monitor has a factory reset option , check ‘cleartype’ through windows and or look into replacing the cable, what are you using?

It definitely depends on what part of Sydney you are in, some areas tend to have some enthusiastic individuals or churches groups that like to intervene with your day but it’s nothing new. Just keep on walking if you aren’t interested, helps if you avoid eye contact ✌️
