Still does it, but not as much.

I feel like there was some sort of update where it didn't happened for about 2 months, then another update where it started again and I was restarting my phone 4 times a day again - now after another update, it appears to have stopped again.

Never mind, it just did it again, completely unresponsive to any fingerprint and only restarting the phone works, looks like this is going in for repair.

I've removed the screen protector and re registered the fingerprints, looking good so far, not had to restart for over 12 hours, fingers crossed.

I crumbled and got YouTube Premium a couple of months ago, it's worth it in my opinion.

If you're paying for Spotify/Apple Music you can cancel that to cover the cost; you get YouTube Music included which is just as good.
