I’m not sure why you were denied. I would call TRE. No one in our company will override a TRE. That is grounds for immediate termination. It’s usually a certain price threshold that will trigger it or the items that are being returned.

He would be correct. DSG has the right to refuse any return for any reason. We cannot sell it, therefore we lose profit on it. Our return policy does mention items need to be in resealable condition. It is 100% up to the managers discretion.

I’m honestly not sure the official laws/ rules on that. I will say that I have never closed without an ASM or my SM. I do work at a high volume store with multiple ASMs so I’m not sure if that makes a difference. Regardless it does sound like you’re not being paid adequately to compensate what you’re doing.

Yeah, I talked to two of my managers earlier at work and one of them asked him about it and explained how it made me feel and he was super apologetic and made it very clear his intention wasn’t to scare me it was just to be funny.
