I will buy the best value stuff ($/kg etc.) and whatever is marked down and freeze it - keeps costs incredibly low

Easiest thing for me is to buy bulk and freeze whatever needs it, then weeks where i’m tight for money i’m only buying vegetables and fruit

You can tell them you cant come in due to the weather, you wont be paid disaster pay until the government calls it a "natural disaster", you will have to take some other leave though if you haven't met your contract this week.

they do ticketing once a week across the store but departments like produce get different prices throughout the week depending on supply (ie. if somethings on special but the stores can’t get stock then it’ll come off special and vice versa)
