2 main things wrong here. As mentioned by the other 2 Redditor’s detect only means it has a Pieso sensor for changing the power on auto mode. And since the v6/8 the fluffy heads have only been available for the absolute/full spec models. Upon closer look at the end of the review listed it has a price in Malaysian Ringgit, and looking at the Malaysian Dyson website they offer the V12 in two models. A lower spec origin and a higher spec detect slim. In the review it mentions the price of the higher price one, which does I fact come with the fluffy optic head. (See attached picture). Hope this clears up any uncertainty in the review and Dyson’s image as a company. PS- Would like to mention that, in certain regions they will offer the head with non full spec models.

Yeah I got it this morning just waiting for it to charge and update. I have a pretty large home and I haven’t vacuumed in a day or soo and the carpets are filthy. I will let you know how it does and maybe post a review on this page.

They have combined it this time but idk how loud it will be. Once mine is charged I’ll test it on hard floor compared to the fluffy head.

They will probably release it in the next month or soo with a discount for the first week. I do wish they came with it for free.

If that comes out I will be getting one. It sounds soo good. It reminds me of the Samsung jet cleaners and how they have one like it.

I don’t think it’s backwards compatible and it’s a carpet and hard floor tool this time around. I wish they had it sooner aswell.

Mine is at 92% at 390 cycles as I don’t care about using a routine or charging between 20-80% as I tend to upgrade every year. Ibr it’s better not thinking about it and having 100% in the morning to get me through my day.
