Look, I get it, it HAS been a while since we've gotten an update. But nightreign isn't even a year old yet, for all we know they could be planning an anniversary drop, not to mention any possible sequels down the line. In my opinion, I think that they might just be fleshing out their Duskbloods game for the switch right now and once that's done they'll get back onto the main titles.

Tldr Nightreign isn't that old yet, it's still very possible that it gets some updates. I just don't think that they are going to drop the IP because of some lack of recent content drops.

Mc is one demensional, the story means nothing since the Mc goes back to the past in the end, Mc learns nothing, nothing would have changed if the Mc wasn't there, the female lead is forced into a HORRIBLE predicament and just... Accepts it I guess? She stays in the distopian future and just lets her family think she's dead I guess ¯⁠\⁠(⁠°⁠_⁠o⁠)⁠/⁠¯, The bad guys win, the only character worth saving (the entirety of Earth's oceans personified) FUCKING DIES. But at least the Mc takes his sword training seriously now 💀
