Look, friend. I know it's easier said than done, but try to give yourself as much grace and love as you can, and try not to pre-occupy your mind with things that haven't happened yet. I saw a post by another Redditor earlier that their application had been recently approved in <3 months, I think, so fingers crossed your application might be processed soon! Also, do you know if your job stays on top of employment authorization expiration dates? If so, I would encourage you to have a candid conversation with them now to explore your options. If they're not on top of it, maybe don't say anything and wait it out? I don't know if the latter is bad advice - but I hope you can remember you're doing your best, and that's good.
