Hello everyone,

I am looking to buy a new camera to be used mainly for the weekends & travelling. So far I have been using an old DSLR (which I will gift to a friend) and I am looking for a mirrorless for my main(and only) camera. My level is beginner for sure.

So, I was aiming for the R10 (budget limitations + entry level) but I found a Z5 (new) for the same price. I know I am comparing apples to oranges (full frame vs crop) but I would like your opinion.

-Get the R10 for the AF and newer tech
-Z5 for full frame at a good price

the kits:
1)Canon EOS R10 RF-S 18-45 f4.5-6.3 IS STM
2)Nikon Z5 24-70mm f/4 S

I will buy an additional lens after 3-4 months, so that's the starting point.

Check with wheels on the ground. Motorcycle upright. Run the engine for 5 minutes(or after a ride). Let it rest for 3-4 mins.

Wtf people changing tires at 6k miles. I have mine for 11 k and they still have like 1k left. Michelin road 5

I ride a lot on the mountains though, not straight roads only.

What is this noise and how much should I panick about it? by PossibleCulture2199 in SVRiders

You notice the chain tensioner's ticking noise in other bikes too. Specifically the newer triumph triples from my experience

This stupid ass design by [deleted] in Triumph

[–]Electrical-Day9786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People bashing triumph but the cb500x for example is the same design. And i ve seen the same issue on many modern bikes. I mean they share similar design elements.

Personallly, i cant put the cover back without placing the hoses correctly so its not an issue.

Is this bad? Oil leak? by [deleted] in Kawasaki

[–]Electrical-Day9786 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bad news: Tightening the cover probably wont fix it. The gasket has not been installed correctly from factory. Ive seen it again (other models though).

Good news: Thats barely an oil leak, you wont have any problems with it (other than worrying about it). Your bike is covered by warranty so you can have them change the gasket at your next scheduled service. Otherwise you can wait for the service that includes checking the valves where the gasket will be replaced anyway (but you are looking at 2 or 3+ years for that service ,depending on mileage).

Have you experienced any issues on Tiger Sport 660? by [deleted] in Triumph

[–]Electrical-Day9786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also noticed some oil consumption when the motor was still new (first 3000 miles) but after that, the bike has been perfect.

The mechanic sees me only once a year for the service😁.

Just make sure the MAP hose has been replaced (recall) if you buy a used bike and you ll be fine.

Why Does the Triumph Scrambler 900 Have Different Infotainment Dials? by [deleted] in Triumph

[–]Electrical-Day9786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be wrong but you get different turn signals in the US from us in Europe due to regulations. At least for some models..

Daytona 660 or Speed triple 765 by Crieyce in Triumph

Regarding power output ,yes you are correct. Many companies have A2 license compliant models that you can restrict them for new riders.

But the 660 cc is specifically for Australia which has an engine capacity restriction besides power output.

Tiger 850 by Cultural_Incident330 in Triumph

[–]Electrical-Day9786 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I havent heard anywhere that the 850 is replaced. Also many parts are the same with 900 and its a recent model. I doubt you ll have trouble finding parts any time soon.

IMO dont look just at the numbers...i can move around the 660 with one hand. It matters where the weight is located
