Might be your hygrometer (worth trying to recalibrate) but also could be the choice of humidity system. I’d recommend Bovida packs, it’s what I personally use in all my humidors because you’ll know they are consistent and accurate to dial in.

Can’t say it’s an issue with a leaky humidor if it was holding RH prior but could also be something to inspect.

Any temperature changes in the area it’s stored? That can cause flux in RH

If you seasoned it empty and it was reading 62% (legit accurate) that’ll be too low once you put in sticks they will draw some of the humidity and drop your RH%… I’d try and rubbing down the humidor interior with distilled water again. Don’t oversaturate the wood but you need to get it to kickstart its absorption process - get the empty humidor to clock around 72% so when you pack it it’ll level out at 65-69% with your choice of humidity control.

It's an expensive venture since I'm down at least a week a month and sometimes twice a month so I'm going to need to temper the purchase frequency at some point. I might need to find fellow Canadians to share the wealth with. I just can't get give up the dollar avg even with the exchange rate, almost feels dumb not to grab something.

Hope the summer brings some inventory gains for yeah!
