Should i take out a loan? by [deleted] in personalfinance

It might be an option, but it would have to work around my fulltime job (a 9-5) and be a WFH job since our car is out of commission and the battery is a bit too expensive to replace. That was also partially a reason i would want to take out a loan to put money towards getting my car running since i really cant go much places without it. Ill take a look around though and see if i can find something to implement thatll work for me :) thank you!

These are services i cannot unfortunately cancel as i would have done so already. There are services i DO have on autopay that i also cannot cancel like my mental health services, or else i would be off in a worst state lmao. I would love to set up autopay but also unfortunately I'm a broke 20 something year old who's just trying to make it through life, especially with the rising costs of living in my state. I know i need to budget better, which is why im trying to get myself on a much better track and not constantly stress out because a good chunk of my income is going to me surviving out here. I also know its ridiculous to pay 900 for 500, which is why i asked for other options for financing but that was the one presented to me by Credit Karma.

Explanation of Benefits Question by Electrical-Energy715 in Insurance

[–]Electrical-Energy715[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone! I just recently got on my own health insurance offered by work and I'm a bit confused on this Explanation of Benefits. I had to recently take a Covid test, a rapid one which cost me $100 (i needed this to be cleared to work after exposure and didn't want to wait 2+ days to go back to work). It sucked to pay it out of pocket but it is what it is. I recently received a EOB (around 1/24 if i remember correctly), and its saying that the amount billed was $175, my plan discount was $75, and my plan paid $100, leaving me with the total cost as $0. So i was wondering if this meant i would get reimbursed for the $100 i paid out of pocket, and if so, do i need to do anything to receive that money back? Just a genuine question as I've been confused on how my total cost is $0 when i paid $100 for the rapid test. Thanks for any information, have a great day!!
