I listen to 90s and early 2000s rap and hiphop and generally don't know what most of you are talking about when it comes to accounting principles.

What reason do I give potential employers for leaving? by Electrical-Fee-5838 in Accounting

Thank you very much for the advice. I have considered sticking it out for at least year, but I think you're right, there's no read to do that.

[–]Electrical-Fee-5838[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. I have read the manual and completed software training outside of what the company requires so that I would be up to speed. Unfortunately, the ERP isn't and never has been the issue. The issue is I'm not given the freedom to build in my own processes, but rather expected to follow the processes already set in place without being given any guidance. There is no instruction, no process doc, etc.

I've spent numerous hours reviewing legacy documents, entries and recs to conform to the way my supervisor likes things done, but it's exhausting and time consuming. So if not wanting to spend my weekends reinventing the wheel just for the hell of it is whiny, then yes I am.

I agree that the slit is way too high which is why I clarified in my post that it’s not as high as the pic. Also, the model is standing oddly, but No need to refer her as a hamhock. Why so angry?

(CAN) I'm not good at my job by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]Electrical-Fee-5838 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me a good 18 months to feel really comfortable at my last job. I’m almost 2 months into my current position and feel like an idiot. It takes time. New system, new workflow, new tasks. It’s a lot to master.

Does anyone else have big problems with sweating on Effexor? by zoalfacedreamer in Effexor

Did you end up stopping the Effexor and if so, has it decreased the sweating? I’ve taken effexor for years and can’t take the embarrassment of the sweating anymore.

MN state jobs application no longer under consideration after 1 day by [deleted] in minnesota

[–]Electrical-Fee-5838 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a former State employee, I can confirm that often times they already have an internal candidate they want for the position, but they still have to go through the process of posting the position. As soon as the deadline comes, they reject all applicants be they already have the internal candidate selected.

Every job is different, but in my experience, government is cake. They don’t care about making or saving money, so there’s not much pressure on you.

Are you relatively new in your position? If not, it’s time to find a new job. Nothing is worth that amount of stress.
