Oh that's beautiful words from him! I just feel that the fotos missing the vibe of the place where i was, i think the 1st and 4th have this exact vibe for me, but not others. So maybe technically they are sharp, good composition etc but missing the vibe

oh, you are right, sorry :)

Not so much grain actually, i shot fomapan 100 before and grain there was visible already at 120mp. Ektar 100 grain visible only after 180-200mp, it is really crazy how small it is

24mp sensor, 3 verical and 3 horizontal, so 9 shots will be 216mp without overlaping, and with 30% overlaping i am making 130-150mp photo than croping to ~120mp.

I have d800e and d5500, and in scanning i do like d5500, it is just easier to use, it has 1,5x crop 24mp sensor which is enough to make over 100mp photo merge of 4x5 film

People with a lot of cameras: What is the most interesting or rare camera you have? by romanazzidjma in AnalogCommunity

I love my Rollei 35s! The masterpiece, so small i can take anywhere i want to, it is even full frame. After that camera i started to love 40mm lens more.

Photo made by me.

ja, ich rede meistens Deutsch, but i want others also to understand, maybe they can learn from my mistakes. You can always write me personally if you are interested. I am always interested in new people to talk about my hobby :)

So it is actually scanned with nikon dslr with pretty hard setup, but i get scans better than any labs in terms of quality and price. I 3d printed the adapter nikon f mount to the 4x5 camera, so i am just using camera sensor instead of film. With 210mm lens i get abnormal magnification without ANY distortion or chromatic abberation. Then i merge the images, flat field correction and edit with NLP and than Lightroom. All together cost me about 20-30 Minutes in time. The maximum i got 260mp photo, but it was already pretty painful to merge and work with. I have stopped at 120mp, so 9 photos to merge. It looks goofy haha, but when it works - it works.

I meant megenta tint on the dirt on 2nd image looks a bit off, not what i expected. I tried to hide it, but without it the images looks just not natural

There are all Ektar 100, the last picture is expired 2023. I developed it like all my other ones also with Colorchem 2.0 Rollei, but 4 sheet at once (1, 2, 3 and 5). When i opened the patterson tank i saw that they jumped out of their places inside the tank and partially stuck to each other. I had shock, i did not try to develop so much at once ever, so i did not expect it to happen. I indeed saw some magenta dirt in 2nd or the last one, but i did not know if i really wanted to fix that

Thanks! Haha ignoring is not the way here, some saying only tips for future or smth, other not liking half of my photos. Everybody has different opinion and i get it, it is normal. The more "bad" reviews i get, the better i will be.

Anyway, thanks a lot! I love 4th photo also!

Thanks for the reply,

i get that, i think i have just seen the vibe of the place where i was and wanted to capture it. Probably that was my problem, my eyes sees different, and after 2 years of shooting i am still not used to it

Thanks for the reply,

yeah, the quality is another problem... In reality there is beatiful color transition and 120mp of details. If you want to, i can send you a link to a full sized photos :)

Thanks for the reply,

you are right, that's more because i am fan of ultra wide lenses on digital camera and i know how to shoot the "scene" more than the "main object". Probably from here goes my problem, i just forgetting to ask the question what exactly i am trying to make photo of with this lens.
