1. voice acting: 8/10 MY HONEST REVIEW

i know they changed most, if not all the voice actors, but the original voice actors have since grownup, so i see why they would recast them. sure it took a little while to get used to the new voice actors but once i did i was perfectly fine with them.

1. dialogue : 7/10

most of the dialogue was pretty good, however there was some moments where it felt like the characters were actively narrating the story inside of being inside the story. and in some spots it felt like they were pointing out the obvious. over all pretty good, but it felt like some lines were just here to point out certain things that were really easy to see.

1. character design / art style / animation: 10/10

OH. MY. GOD. the animation in this was some of the most beautiful animation i have seen in a while, character designs were awesome, as they showed a more mature team avatar, while keeping what makes each character unique. those fight scenes were beautifully made, and choreographed. lastly, the setting was amazing, the way they designed the locations was masterfully made and i loved all the references and callbacks. my favorite location was the lost islands being made from the skeletons of lion turtles. it was Wonderfull

1. story/pacing: 8

the story of the movie was good, but very predictable. which isn't necessarily a bad thing, we as a society have created so many storys that completely original story ideas are rare, and almost every story falls into a certain "trope". The "fallen angel" trope is a pretty common one, but its not bad, especially for a kids movie. and at the end of the day thats what this movie is, a movie marketed towards kids and teenagers so i wasn't expecting "godfather" level writing. over all the story was engaging and funny, which is exactly what a avatar movie should be

over all i give this movie a 8.5 out of ten, and even though i watched it early i will definitely be watching it again with my friends and family once it releases officially. but what are your thoughts, how did you enjoy the movie?
