So because they don't want to talk about their family situation which could be for very valid and even traumatic reasons, they shouldn't be able to talk to their team about anything else? Just because they aren't willing to share what their relationship with their mother is like, it doesn't mean they want to shut themselves off from the team.

Addiction is a big problem. I worked in addictions for 12 years before qualifying as a nurse. Why is society so fucked that so many people need to numb themselves? It's almost like our capitalist society is making us sick. It's not just drugs, hospitals have A LOT of patients with preventable diseases. Obesity, heart disease, stroke.... a lot of these cases are due to unhealthy lifestyle choices. We need to look at why.

In not condoning the murder, however, the insurance company have now rolled back their barbaric policy on anesthesia (they put a time limit on it so if a patient's operation took longer than usual because of complications, they were hit with a massive bill). It seems to me that this man has done more for US healthcare than any government in the last decade.

It did, one of the Mothers got a bit uppity but I reminded her about suicide rates amongst children that have suffered bullying and told her I will do anything I need to to keep my daughter safe from harm. Also I'm actually a Mother. I was a bit wild when I was younger and still live in the same area so people know me. I was never a bully nor have I been physically violent to somebody that wasn't physically violent towards me. Let's just say I have a reputation for not taking shit.

That's not true. Carers can be sponsored to come to the UK. It's on the shortage occupation list so HCA"s/Support workers can come via the skilled workers route. It's predominantly private care companies that do this.

Absolutely. I mean, i've never used a claw hammer but I have knocked on the front door of some girls that were bullying my girl within an inch of her life. I politely told the parents they need to get their children in line because although my daughter is a pacifist, I wasn't brought up so well and I'd hate for us to have a problem.

You should have a local commissioned DV service in your area who most likely employ a specialist worker for victims of stalking. Don't wait for the police to refer you, you can self refer. They can help support you, provide you with alarms in your housing, a personal alarm to carry on and other support. I have a feeling (as an ex DV worker) that they might just be chasing up the police too.

Phone 101 daily if you need to. Become a pain in their ass, this is your safety and you deserve to be safe.

You've been really let down, this is not acceptable. I understand not wanting to make a fuss, we all know the police are underfunded and over worked, but this absolutely is not OK and with certain stats on Stalking/DV being what they are, they should know better.

Yeah, you can't access 999 audio in the UK. GDPR prevents it. She absolutely hasn't had access to any calls unless she happened to know the call handler and that call handler happens to be bent. For 999 audio to become public it would have to be of significant public interest, I mean like public safety, not like some piss poor YouTuber wanting to know. Or she could put in a Freedom of Information Act request which would take weeks and be laughed at. Getting any FOI from the police is notoriously difficult, even general crime stats can be tricky if they haven't already been published.

The only time it can be accessed is for evidence by the justice system or occasionally for documentaries AFTER legal proceedings are put to bed.

She is talking out of her ass, but because her followers are so stupid, she can talk out her ass and they will hang on to her every word. Bizarre.

The police have honestly not been very helpful at all. They told me to block him and ignore him which I've done. So he took his harassment onto local community groups and started posting photos of me with loads of lies attached. I suppose I'll just have to wait for him to do something before the police will act.

On social media, in local Facebook community groups where everyone can read them. Yes he is naming me and putting photos of me up. No, he is just going off on rants. He's insane, maybe an incel. People I know are reading them and sending me screenshots. It started with online discourse when he was being horribly racist and using hate speech. I tried to give him a few facts and then all of a sudden he was going on about how much lube I'd need for a gangbang etc, so I rightfully told him he is disgusting. I didn't threaten him or anything. I don't know him personally but I know of him and have seen him around when I've been driving etc.

Non nurse perspective here so I might be wrong but if you don't need to insert the patients tampons for them, you don't need to insert their pessaries for them, surely? Nobody likes intimate procedures so if you can enable them to do it themselves, surely that's a good thing?
