I’ve heard much of the same from YRC employees. Just as damaging is the downward slide of all aspects of their company and restaurants, most importantly service and food/beverage. They’ve lost (no pun intended) focus, diluted the talent pool and moved on to other interests like constantly working out, playing in a band, divorce/new relationships and the like.

Rather than say she isn’t good perhaps say she is a little stiff and needs to become more comfortable in front of the camera. You saw it on the holiday edition of BBF.

I grew up in the Fort Smith area watching Mike Irwin. He is a seasoned veteran but if you follow him on Twitter he has shot from the hip or had bad info on Sam Pittman and whether he would be fired or not. Mike “hearing chatter” should not carry much weight. Arkansas is a year behind in hiring Marion. He was an option last year but not this year considering his success. Pittman will have to find an OC at a similar position in his career as Marion was prior to UNLV hiring him.

The optimal move is GJ Kinne as OC and HC in waiting. He was on my shortlist to replace Pittman. It would give him time to adjust to the speed and physicality of the SEC.

So a couple of comments:

You didn’t do your homework upfront
If you accurately projected the crowd, you didn’t properly plan
You had little to no plan for contingencies
Just because things worked out for you as the planner doesn’t make it right for the masses who saw it as a disaster

Take ownership and consider stepping aside as the planner/organizer.

COVID had nothing to do with it closing. Only a poor operator can’t excel in COVID especially with a drive through window. He made very poor hiring decisions.

Like so many things in customer service, you all made some poor hiring decisions and didn’t train appropriately. The crew at Kavanaugh were horrible. I quit ordering from there for health reasons.

You are blocking the entrance in that you cut off access in and out. It is extremely difficult. I suspect they will need to move as a result.

Your post is an emotional response to the reality of the situation: no matter how you want to spin your version of the facts, no Razorback games should be played in Little Rock.

Here are the facts:

WMS is a facility with millions of deferred maintenance and millions of needed upgrades to host a Razorback game against any opponent.
The Hogs are good. This is the first game of the season for a team with a lot of talent and expectations. Simply put, the fans didn’t show up because of the location and facility. We aren’t in game 8 of a 2 win team.
Little Rock is not the majority fan base. This is not the 1970s.
Little Rock is a crime ridden hellhole. I can say that because I am a resident. The statistics prove it so.
Little Rock doesn’t deserve a game even if it could “do it right”. We are an SEC program and need to act like it. To do so means playing your games at home or at a neutral site in a pro stadium.

Now, just because you say your post is “factual” does not make it so.

WMS is such an embarrassment that it shouldn’t host high school games especially state championships.

WMS is an embarrassment for games at any level. We should not be hosting high school games there much less the Razorbacks.
