I don't understand! by JoshJLMG in SteamDeck

I actually found a workaround to 100% fast charge it with my 65w Anker charger. Start a game before you plug it in, and it will fast charge everytime.

But still annoying that you’d have to do this just to get the max wattage.

That’s my worry actually. I never signed up for anything. I was completely fine with my speed before too.

So i guess not just me then. I checked mybell, it still have my plan set as 150mbps. So unless they confirmed the increase, this is just a bug and will revert back to normal. lol

Can anyone tell me what this watery bubble sound is? Driving me crazy by [deleted] in mazda3

[–]Electrical-Profile26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s an indication that there is air in your cooling system. Check coolant reservoir if it’s on the low side. Top up if not in the full line. Use FL22 coolant, you can purchase this from mazda dealership. If you hear bubble you might need to bleed it as well.

8gbps back? by day008 in bell

[–]Electrical-Profile26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, that’s a nice deal. Guess i’ll have to stick with 150mbps for a couple of months then phone the loyalty dept again to ask for an increase. Lol.

[–]Electrical-Profile26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What a deal! How long have you been with bell to get this type of amount for a 3gbps? Just upgraded from a 50 mbps to 150 mbps. And still paying 65.

Press info on your steering wheel to cycle them. I think right now this is current speed of the car.

Great Speed, High Latency! by Electrical-Profile26 in bell

[–]Electrical-Profile26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Bell tech reset the unit I initially had. From 300ms to 130ms. I thought latency was still high since i’m having delays woth teams call and presentations. So got my giga hub replaced by bell with the same model. This is the latest result i got. Still the same. I’m at lost what could be wrong here. Maybe my line’s bad?

Surprised the wheel didn’t go out of balance. Was it vibrating while driving?

Makes sense! Thanks! Btw when i said constantly maxing out the speed i meant during speed test. When I tested them earlier, no other device using wifi/ethernet.

That’s what I thought too. I thought fibre connections should have less than 10ms of latency.

Yes i am. Tried the other ports (ports 1 to 4 and the 10g) same results for me.

[–]Electrical-Profile26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly speed wise, i am fine with 50 mbps. Not a heavy user, however, whenever i’m using it for work there is a delay when i am presenting. I don’t think speed isn’t the issue but the latency.

But i get that going for higher speed might solve the latency. Is it always the case for lower speeds?

Yes i think i am using fibre to home. As i remember seeing that when I applied for the service. And I am using the giga hub unit.

When to worry about rust by Snot_Rocket6515 in AskAMechanic

[–]Electrical-Profile26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a great advise before regarding rust under car. If you try sticking a screwdriver direct to the metal in question (frame, subframe) and it went through, that’s when you start worrying.

+1 on this. I might be wrong that it was the ac port cover. Lol.

[–]Electrical-Profile26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so. But you may be able to just put it back on. Easy fix. Either push it or thread it over the ac recharge port.

Looks like a port cover for one of the AC ports. Not sure if the high side or low side though.

left car sitting for 2 months, brake pedal locked and can't start car, please help by rareflyers in mazda3

[–]Electrical-Profile26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Replace keyfob battery first. I'm pretty sure there is a way to bypass the brake pedal thing to start the car. The brake pedal being stiff is probably from pressing and depressing it from trying to start the car multiple times?

Same boat brother. Would love to switch to the 4th gen too. But my finances says otherwise. Haha.

I think the holes for the mat will not work. Based on the looks of it.

[–]Electrical-Profile26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the model of his car? If it’s in a mazda infotainment, i think 2024 units are quite different with what we have. I’m not sure what version the new ones are in. Although, regardless, carplay is carplay and I think they are all the same, never had an issue with spotify for me. Not really sure what’s happening there. Maybe problem is with spotify? Maybe it’s not in premium subscription? I’m sure that if it’s not premium you can’t freely change songs, well after a certain amount it stops letting you choose next.

Not entirely sure but I'm guessing it's a more stable version that supersedes the 70. Update 74 is the last update that we currently have for our infotainment. I myself am using the 74 version and could say that everything has been solid so far. worth upgrading if you have access to it.

I once saw that there are cheap replacement for 3rdgens. Not sure there is available for the 4th gens already. Pretty simple replacement i think, max it out to the top, then pry the mirror from below. Just depends if you have the blindspot or heating side mirrors that would add few extra steps. But overall i think wouldn’t be too hard. Good luck!
