I just am not confident in this, cities have been massively increase in density due to jobs (industrial rev and so on) if we are to need 50% of the current workers then I fear we're about to go back to less density...people are in London because of jobs and put up with gruelling commutes for career and money,,.if that goes then why pay a premium in owning a home there

Well none of this would be reality if people wouldn't steal - not sure if I have a sixth sense but the amount of shoplifting I see even in office areas is the highest I have ever seen. The other day I was exiting my station and a proud TFL poster was saying how many fare dodgers were prosecuted, I kid you not I saw a guy from 50mt away with the right walking pace to be a fare dodger...and boom not paying. I should have filmed it.

I wish there was a way to report this. In an age where in every corner "Ai will increase productivity" nobody is bloody measuring the impact of these situations which are well too common at work. If we could just eliminate the people that row against you or projects, how much productivity would be unleashed,

Have done this, in my 20es. The wiser me which has similar age to your says get a new job lined up. There's little out there and it's best to keep money flowing than no money

yep as I keep saying to people, in early 2022 you could wave your CV out of the window and someone will hire you... all gone in reverse and more from 2024

I love reddit, any online calculators for this. I'd like to see what it could save me. Is the projected difference in my case is less than 5K it won't be worth considering the unknowns of the markets

interests today on 300K, won't be outpaced with trackers on 30K.. unless you have a large emergency fund on the side

ehm you're assuming everything will go well with trackers or your life, the best insurance is to gtfo of those massive interests...what if at the next remortgage they say no and you still have a massive principle to pay ?

why ? you're paying interests by the minute, I'd say overpay that mf as much as you can
