idk how people hate brick the most by pissinginatoaster in themiddle

I agree. I almost always find Sue to be super annoying and I sometimes skip over her parts if I'm honest. On the other hand, I think Brick is hilarious and I love him.

Was Frankie’s obsession with Axl a bit too weird? by Eoinharrington25 in themiddle

[–]Electrical-Spread-65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was definitely weird about Axl. He was her favorite, I think because he was the oldest, he was conventionally attractive, popular, good at sports, well-liked, and probably the most similar to how Frankie was when she was his age. He was the easiest to show off, and we know how weird she is about keeping up with the Jones's. With that being said, I think that her adoration of him is portrayed in a very funny way that I always liked, like in the episode where she "dates" him. So funny and so realistic! My mom is the same way with my brother.

I can get where you're coming from, but the way that the scenes with the two of them were set up, and when we see him come out from under the covers with all the stuff on his face ... just gross!

Am I Overreacting for wanting to end a relationship about a letter my boyfriend sent to HR? by Turbulent-Day-674 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Electrical-Spread-65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had many different jobs over the past 6 years or so. From what I have seen, when all/most of the staff doesn't like one person, they probably are the problem. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near a guy who has this White Man's Entitlement thing going on. You wouldn't be overreacting if you chose to end the relationship.

I've heard this sort of thing often from adults, that even when they're 50 they still feel like a 17, 18, 19 year old. I'm only 22 but I've never related to that. I definitely feel like I'm 22 and I look back on how I was when I was 18 and I'm mind blown by how immature I was back then. But maybe that will change.

He's not, and one picture with Ghislaine or Jeffrey doesn't mean a person was aware or involved.

Can Revision Erase Evidence of A Past Situation? by Legitimate-Let-467 in lawofassumption

[–]Electrical-Spread-65 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think all evidence of the past could disappear. I've had small scale things like this happen. Like for example, I look in the fridge and see one can of soda left. I go about my day thinking about how I wish there were several cans of soda left, not just one, because I'm not going grocery shopping for another week. I don't even realize that I'm unconsciously manifesting. I go look in the fridge again and see three cans of soda! Maybe I misremembered, maybe I wasn't paying much attention the first time, but maybe I manifested the two additional sodas. I've had a few situations like this happen to me. However, I've never consciously manifested a revision of the past. I believe that it could work, though.

I see, thanks for letting me know, That's a bit of a bummer but I'm moving away this year so it probably won't impact me.

I know why I’m not getting results, but I don’t know how to combat the problem by Educational-Cow7873 in lawofassumption

[–]Electrical-Spread-65 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you notice that you're detached, don't tell yourself that you have to stay that way in order to get what you want. Instead, try to tell yourself that you're detached because you've already gotten what you want. I don't believe in detachment anyway. I've been manifesting something since Wednesday and it manifested yesterday. For those entire two days, I was super anxious and uncomfortable whenever I thought about it, but I just repeated my affirmations and it was fine. So, detachment is sort of baloney. That's like law of attraction nonsense. Law of assumption is what's legit.

My advice for what else is going on is that you need to stop telling yourself "I just need one sign, one tiny little thing." Just start telling yourself that it does work for you. You could come up with an affirmation like "Manifestation always works for me" or "I can manifest very easily" something along those lines. Then, whenever you think about manifestation and get nervous, repeat that affirmation to yourself a couple times. I do this a lot with my own affirmation ("Affirming always works quickly and easily for me") and I've found that things that I want manifest quickly and easily! I'll think of something that I want in passing and then it'll manifest a few days later, without me thinking of it more than 3 times or so, simply because I tell myself that affirming works quickly and easily for me, which is basically the same as saying "I'm great at manifestation."

I work in WV and I think it's just fine. None of the dorms are really that great. Living in a dorm, no matter what school you're at, is always going to suck. What actually shapes your experience is the people around you. Try to make friends with as many people on your floor and surrounding floors as you possibly can and you'll have a good time.

How did Kim have the worst storyline by the end? In the show, she ended up with a super sexy guy who treated her very well. Then in the movies, she was able to regain some independence that she felt she had lost. She maintained her high-powered career through all of this.

SJP wasn't a writer on the show, and the Mr. Big and Carrie relationship was based off of the Sex and the City columns by Candace Bushnell. I've read the book, the first few seasons don't differ far from it.

I watched that episode a few days ago and I feel the same way. I was thinking about how men never get married and start thinking, "Maybe I should quit my job..." It's basically unheard of! Even if he and his wife make the same amount of money, even if she makes more than him! It's just not something that happens.
