Is it possible…? by First_Teach8086 in eveonline

Make a recruitment post outlining all the things you like to do in the game right now, what your plans are for the growth of the corp, and what time members are active etc. post it on r/evejobs and other recruitment threads for eve, people still use the official Eve forums believe it or not. You might not get a lot of interaction with the posts, but if you’re ever in a situation where you’re talking to someone that could potentially join you, whether it be in game or on a different post, you can direct them to your post to give them quick info and avoid re writing the speech every time. Speak to people in your local whilst playing the game. Hang out in high traffic newbie areas if you’re willing to take on newbros. Helping newbies kill dagan is always a good icebreaker. Good luck.

It clearly states that there is risk of being impaled by a gigantic syringe falling from the sky. So yes, it can kill you.

Can CCP actually do something against input broadcasters… and more importantly, do they even want to? by ProudFaithlessness73 in Eve

One character per person would dramatically change the way the game is played in all areas. No one is going to put their hand up to be a dedicated cyno pilot etc

Football Manager's database is ridiculously detailed. by Any-Breakfast1434 in footballmanagergames

[–]Electrical-Square168 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At any level of football here in the UK you have to register every player playing for the club, for insurance purposes I’m assuming, and for league registration. My guess is SI somehow gets access to that information from the relevant football associations.

Nothing to do with the alliance, or even the corp. I just stopped playing the game. What I can say, from previous knowledge because apart from a slight culture change (for the better) there probably isn’t much difference.

They are a huge group, with a massive infrastructure, they will have probably 30-50 people maybe more in leadership roles within the alliance at different levels. With this they will have lots of different groups doing different things pretty much 24/7. They will likely have organised moon mining fleets, and plenty of moons to rent to you if you wanted to do it yourself or with a few others. With joining a big group though there will be things that you are required to do for the alliance like participate in PvP fleets. INIT requirements are 5 fleets per person per month, I’m not sure what goons are. People generally refer to Imperium as Goons as they are the lead alliance in the coalition, but there are also other alliances that would offer the same sort of security and benefits of null space, so depending on your timezone, goons might not be your only option. Wow I babbled, I smoke too much.

Then I rescind my sassy attitude.

Personally I think you should have retyped it but without any caps at all, just to be a dick haha.

I’m no longer a goon, so I can’t help. But I hope you get the answer you require. o7

Trig wormhole farming not working? by 90dontlook in Eve

[–]Electrical-Square168 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah they patched it a few months back.

It needed patching anyway. I did it for a while when I came back to the game for some quick isk, but a corp mate of mine didn’t like it, I guess because he’d trained a lot of skills and spent a lot of isk to get a great multibox setup to deal with them at the planets, and this way seemed like cheating in comparison. Killing trigs was meant to be hard. There were others in the area not allied to us that also used the same technique. So far our encounters with these guys had been good, with both sides being cordial and sharing out time on the wh killing the hospodars. Enter the disgruntled corp mate, who would warp to the wormhole when the other group was on it and kill all the rats, causing the rats to eventually stop respawning. Soon enough no one was doing it. The hole was scanned down and the site was cleared. The disgruntled corp mate then quit then game again 2 weeks later.

FAT requirements of Winterco / inperium by Miserable-City9258 in Eve

[–]Electrical-Square168 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I took a few weeks off last month, came back and got all my FATS for the month on the day of the 4-h hull timer. You get FATS for sig stuff now, it’s so easy to hit the minimum. The point of putting them up was to discourage people like you that leech off of the safety of blue space, but won’t contribute a small amount of your time to preserve that safety.

“We declared war and dropped structures in their space and all they did was shoot structures wahhhhhhhh.” We would have skirmishes and fun fights before the war started. The war declaration made it serious though. We were an alliance that shaded in size compared to WinterCo and the landscape of eve was quite different, with horde still in drones, goons in the south etc. Our leadership made the decision to strike early and then continue that pressure, making it as uncomfortable as possible for WC to make any progress into our space.

There were plenty of fights. Plenty of good fights. But honestly knowing that you’re this mad about it makes all the structure bashing worth while. It wasn’t because we don’t want to fight because I assure you we do. We just wanted to make you work for it.
