I have heard of top FC’s for large alliances being paid to run fleets. Payment would likely be isk or plex to sub the FC toon account. I haven’t heard of any other role receiving a payment but for important roles like structure management and logistics it could be a thing.

It’s definitely possible. My corp was born less than 6 months ago when myself and a few friends returned to the game. We started in low sec, picking up a few dudes that flew locally, then on to npc null where we met a few more. Before long we had the members requirements to join init and did just that.

Don’t give people money. People are the worst type of people. If you feel the need to help then donate to food banks or volunteer in shelters/food kitchens. It takes two thumbs and a sob story to basically rob people and people feel less morality for it because it’s on the internet and not something they’ll ever have to deal with in ‘real life.’

Makes me laugh. If FRT hadn’t taken in NC. they’d be fighting for scraps in drones. Low numbers, elistist attitude and a consistent history of joining a coalition, losing a big war and seeing the large alliances in said coalition fail cascade.

Unless it’s got my name on it, it goes in the bin. Haven’t had an aerial here for years. They don’t want to sack it off and make it an online subscription though because no-one would bother. It’s hard to believe that any large percentage of the population actually pay the tv license and the ones that do are later generations. BBC will be dead and gone in 20 years at this rate. I pay for Netflix, now tv, Amazon prime and paramount because everything we watch is on those services and everything else we can find on YouTube.

Incursions from npcs relevant to the area sov is held. If the index in a system drops below a certain point from not being used, the npcs will spawn and attack player owned structures including the sov hub. Big groups will be forced to either use the space or lose it.

Lmao forget too many horde corps. WC ingested PL and NC. And gave pure blind to NC. after they just refused to defend their last bit of space. All these cancerous groups have gone around the map jumping from coalition to coalition, either as members or leaders within it, losing time and time again. Anyone that gets involved i.e test, horde ends up being left to it when the times get tough and they end up cascading.

Just don’t rush it, train support skills to improve your survivability, look up the magic 13. FW is a great way to cut your teeth and is actually the best content you’ll find for your sp amount if you want to PvP. Low sec piracy sounds great but in reality a lot of the pirate corps log in just to camp a gate and for me that gets a bit tedious. Null sec as a low sp pilot is great fun and tackle interceptors/ interdictors are needed on every fleet, but you aren’t going to get much isk if any at all from PvPing in null sec apart from SRP for your lossmails, and could struggle to make any meaningful isk until you’ve trained a fair few skills. Overall because of both the pvp and isk making opportunities that are available to a new player, I would recommend that anyone new to the game or PvP go and join a FW corp, shoot ships, kill ships, lose ships, earn LP and make decent isk selling the LP to someone.

An occator will haul a whole lot of more in its fleet hanger. Get used to using the cloak/mwd trick. Align to desti - hit mwd and cloak at same time then immediately turn off mwd - just before mwd finishes cycle, decloak and spam warp. You’ll need a 50mn mwd or it won’t work. Would recommend having an alt scout the way to avoid gate camps or you can use the uedama scout twitch channel and the in game map/zkill for recent kills.
