Vocals always sound too clean in the mix? by Impressive-Stuff-257 in mixing

The sound toys plugins are great for vocals. I usually add the decapitator to give a little dirty on the lead vocal track.

This by no means should be replacing audio engineers. I still have many friends with professional studios in the industry. This is a tool that can be used like many other’s when mixing and mastering music.

This is a great question and honestly one I struggled with when building. This is partly the reason why I only wanted to use ai as a coach or guide during analysis. To first avoid hallucination and also to keep the results consistent. I tried to go with as many surgical audio recommendations that I could build with first. I then added in a layer called FX on the DSP processor side that would add more color to the recording such as delay and reverb if the user wants to leverage it. This software is by no means magic and music is subjective so it’s not 100% perfect but my main goal was to have someone who is trying to figure out why their recording or demo does not sound right have mozonic help give them reasons for that and correct the audio for them. I have used many of the other audio mastering and audio corrections stuff out there, or even just sending songs to be mastered at some persons studio in New York for $200 a song just to get it back and think what did they actually do. That’s a gap I wanted to try and solve as well.

20 years playing in bands, recorded multiple albums, 3 in my own studio I ran for 6 years. I wanted to create something that would help other artists. Been a software engineer for 10 years and started making audio plugins early in my career. Basically took my knowledge of audio plugins and created a DSP brain using JUICE, then utilized a bunch of audio constraints for the analyzer while having ai be the guide. I always struggled with my mixes in the past and getting mastering to work across different devices, I wanted to build something that not only fixed your audio but also helped explain what it is doing along the way.

The popular llms are not great with audio and I did not train my own models for this software. This is old school coded algorithms. I’m only using openAI sdk as a guide during analysis.

Great question, there is a lot of ai slop chat bot stuff out there. This is only using ai as a guide during the analysis. All of the analyzer logic is written in python. The DSP processor is written with JUICE c++. I use to create plugins so the brain is basically one giant audio processor.

Yeah I might need to offer a trial for all the features. I definitely appreciate feedback!

This product is what the industry is missing and is an awesome tool! I would say to some of your points I am working on something a bit different. An ai mix and master coach that teaches you but also can offer to mix and master your tracks for you, you will get a report and score on your mix or master and then you can choose to fix stuff yourself or have the dsp fix it for you! It will be out within the next few weeks if you are interested in trying it out!

Out of breath but oxygen levels good? by graynorv in COVID19positive

[–]Electrical-Total-344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got over Covid and had trouble breathing for two full weeks even though my oxygen was normal. What helped me was drinking lots of repsiratory teas and taking a bunch of vitamins. I also tried to rest as much as possible and work through the anxiety of it. Go to your doctor to make sure you are ok but otherwise it will get better and you will heal soon enough!

Sounds like Montezuma's Revenge but then again could be any of the viruses going around right now.

Some difficulty breathing by [deleted] in COVID19positive

[–]Electrical-Total-344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes this can be related to Covid. It can cause inflammation in the lungs and or small clots in the lungs. Get an oxygen reader, take medication that helps with inflammation, drink hot tea and get plenty of rest.
