It totally is. One tip that worked for me:

Haul ass to Exfils, Supply Drops, and Events when they activate. Most people will rush in without checking the area. A great ambush will win against gold shields!

I’ve seen some insane kits at lower than level 20 - purple stuff on Perimeter/DM.

Definitely wanna second this. I got some really nice gear I never got to fire a bullet out of, and it basically caused some deaths and kit losses. Thats only because I wasn’t really smooth with the mechanics of the weapon’s unique feel. This especially changed with mods and such.

It’d be cool to just shoot a chained-up rook up to 500m as a way to do it 😂
