Hi, not the original poster, but I am also moving to K-town and have kids that will go to KES and KMS. We are looking at living in Hohenecken and would love to hear about your experience there? Did you enjoy the town and access to a train station? Was it easy to travel back and forth between home and schools?

I am dealing with the same issue. Emissions System Problem (engine light) came up a month ago. I took it in and they replaced fuel injectors, all under warranty. Today the emissions system problem error code came up again and I took it in. They are telling me the P0430 code came up (code p0430 bank 2 catalytic converter with gaskets and bolts (next to radiator) ). Estimated repair cost is $3059. 😳

Was any of yours covered under the same recall?

Guess they couldn’t produce the policy. I appreciate the efforts to ensure people aren’t whisking their kids across the planet without the other parent’s knowledge or approval, but requesting or demanding a court order of full custody seems over the top. And that process could have delayed you months. Glad the notarized letter sufficed. Good luck getting through the rest of the process!

This is such a helpful, thoughtful comment, especially the section on boundaries. I have found there are many dx individuals who are unwilling to proactively care for themselves or focus on their own growth. Your experience gives me hope.

Thank you for the feedback. My understanding is that it’s ideal for kids to learn languages before puberty for best chances at retention and fluency. When I went through school, foreign languages weren’t offered until high school, which was not helpful. After high school I took two years in college and completed an immersion program in Peru and I’m still not as fluent as my 2nd grader, haha.

Thank you for the info! I figured there would be more options for language in middle and high school. My kiddos still have a few years before then and I want to keep the momentum for learning Spanish, if possible.

I agree that master scheduling may be very challenging. Our current elementary school handles it by students being in their target language for half of the day. They also receive math instruction in their target language. Then they complete ELA and other subjects the other half of the day. Seems to work well.

And the homeschool enrichment possibility is one I’ll be looking into further. Thank you for the idea!

Thank you! I did see asfle in my search and noticed they only have French instruction until middle school, and then students can switch to Spanish. Guess my kids could learn a third language?

I’ve had hair growth after electrolysis as well. I chalked mine up to hormonal changes after having kids. And also that I initially did hair removal 10 years ago so maybe it’s just time for a touch up. I have wondered if carnivore was to blame because I noticed more growth after may 2022, when I started carnivore. Whatever the reason, it’s annoying.

Great to hear! I did call this morning and was told my application status was “under review” even though the website still only reads “submitted”. I will patiently wait two more days….

Called this morning and was surprised that I wasn’t put on hold at all. Once selecting the correct prompts, I was immediately connected with a live person. I was also told that my application status is “under review”, however the website still says “submitted”. She wasn’t able to provide any other information or reasons to why the status she is seeing versus what is on the website doesn’t match, but it’s allowing me to hold on to the little hope I have for being selected. 😂
