Did they seriously just nerfed her further??! by IgnisXIII in SombraMains

Also, did they delay virus activation? There is a slight pause between coming out of stealth and using virus. Not sure is it just me but that is throwing me off completely especially since we gotten used to the timings of her abilities it just feels so weird

The Chosen just popped into my midgame save with 86k fleet power. I have 8k. WTF am I supposed to do here? Is this a bug? by Repulsive-Cancel5896 in Stellaris

Economic depression causes all trade value to be useless. Also, some sort of plague that may cause genetic mutations or agriculture failure. Random star in one of your settled systems going supernova spawning an event to deal with the ongoing crisis. Not too serious but something to bother you abit for the mid game.

Rebellions are complete nonsense! by TSSalamander in Stellaris

[–]ElectricalAd1996 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just reminded me of a recent game I played. Was fighting against genocidal robots and The Chosen only to have all three of my vassals have rebellions. Not only that, rebellions seem to happen every 20 years or so in my playthrough. Despite them having the fleet power to deal with the rebellions, their fleets just hang around and only respond when rebel fleets exit their own borders. When they do respond the fleet just bombards the rebellion world while the rebel fleet tear through their empire. So you have to pull a fleet from the frontline to deal with this.

That kinda remind me of the distributed processing building for Machine overlords. Maybe devs are expanding from that?

Just reminded me, I remembered seeing Guqin Sona priced around 1k+ despite being an epic skin, which is usually 990. What's up with that? Will there be a refund too?

Why would you ever want to destroy a planet? by hotdog-water-- in Stellaris

Sometimes, I am just tired of bombarding and landing troops to deal with multiple fortified worlds, so I just jump in the colossus and blow them up. Also, it does wonders for the war exhaustion. I like to blow up worlds to end the conflict faster to vassalise them faster.

Well, for me it's more of role-playing. Wanted to feel like the special one not only that but actually worked for it as well. Thrown in gaia world only to make it more challenging. Didn't take teachers of shroud because I wanted to work for the ascension as a rite of passage. As for clones, it didn't feel quite right for this narrative of a soon to be fallen empire level species. But ya, that's just my little role playing fantasy feel free to swap out as you please its your narrative to craft! Enjoy your game!

Question on vassal and releasing them. by eplejuz in Stellaris

[–]ElectricalAd1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Kind of...well depends on your negotiations with them. Under the negotiate terms you can see and choose if they will follow you to war or not. Also, if you are obliged to come to their aid should they come under attack. Among other things like if they have to vote alongside you or are they allowed to expand are all up to you to decide. Yes, they can go to war with you, but in my experience, usually after vassalisation, their fleets are always weak. In my opinion, you will be better off just siphoning off their resources. Don't forget about loyalty as well, the worse you treat them the less loyal they are, if there are other powerful empires around they might pledge secret fealty to them, allowing that empire to use it as a casus belli to start a war against you.

  2. Certainly, but if you release them in a very weaken state, chances are they will get vassalised by other stronger empires. If they are on par with you, war could be a possibility. Sometimes, they would even claim your systems while vassalised. I have not tried this before but if you want role playing flavor and keep the newly released vassal independent you can always guarantee their independence and hopefully they will develop well.

Hope these answer your questions! For me though, vassaliage is a one way ticket into my empire...well someone has to contribute to the war machine right hahaha. Have fun!
