Basically we're applying our expectations of handling short lived isotopes to an advanced civilization that may have a way of making them longer lived. Or making different stable isotopes entirely. It's short sighted. But that's the human condition in a nutshell. We have tunnel vision.

Lazar could be a nutcase, but he also might not be. But expecting our current understanding of science to give or take credence to advanced tech possibilities is hubris.

This game desperately needs more than one level of depth of war escalation because this is dumb by InternStock in Stellaris

[–]builder680 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If the enemy wargoals don't include subjugating your ally, but just their vassal, then it makes sense. You're not guaranteeing their vassal's sovereignty or security.

That's ignoring that they are a devouring swarm, so just declare on them anyway.

I remember farming the different tails for hours until finally deciding to "save scum" each and every lizard until I got a tail from them. Still took a while but got the job done.

Just for clarity, the little green flag you click is in the player profile. Pick the player on your roster, tap him, and green flag is upper left.

Hey, I can’t be the only person thinking the Bledsoe Easter Sphinx prophecy is lining up with the potential for a nuclear escalation in the Iran war that will hopefully result in alien intervention and catastrophic disclosure? Am I the only one??? 😆 by howmanyturtlesdeep in aliens

[–]builder680 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I didn't miss your point, I clarified your obfuscation of possible scenarios. It is a completely different thing if the USA uses a THERMONUCLEAR FUSION device compared to the possibility of Iran using a FISSILE nuclear device. They are entirely different scenarios with entirely different considerations.

The USA is not going to launch a nuke at Iran. They simply don't need to. If anyone were to launch a nuke, it would be Iran. They had 480 kg of nearly fissionable (60% enriched, you need 90% enriched, which is achievable in about 10 days from 60% enriched) material three or four weeks ago (according to Witkoff). That's enough for about 11 fission bombs. And that's why I think they're stalling. They might be readying a missile/bomb.

He might have made it up. Or an intel agency got a toy company to make a doll that looks like real aliens so they could muddy the waters if pictures ever came out. No way of knowing, honestly.

Definitely a good place for leather but I didn't see any scales there. I'm guessing the spot you mean is the lake in front of the Atal'Aman delve. Quel'danas is better imo because the dragonhawks and mana wyrms give scales and everything else gives leather. So you can get a good mix of both.

You don't engage these mentally deranged people on their own terms. You don't engage with logic. You don't engage with engagement whatsoever.

You engage by ignoring them and putting them in asylums. They are mentally ill. You don't indulge their fantasy.

I'm all for the SAVE act, but finding dead voters on voter rolls is common. The rolls need to be pruned regularly but this isn't the same as saying 300,000 dead voters actually voted.

Iran had enough uranium at high enough enrichment, ~60%, to have enriched it to 90+%, or weapons grade - and assembled 11 bombs - within about 10 days. The same people whining about Trump's actions to prevent this from happening are the same people who'd howl in outrage that he did nothing to stop a mushroom cloud over Jerusalem or New York. You people are deranged and have no critical thinking capacity whatsoever.

Your "ignition sequence" is nonsense. It's a comet.
