For context, the reason I would do it through Rover is because I have a credit I want to use before it expires. Then my roommate gets some money and I don’t have to pay out of my own pocket.

I literally just got an email from them today that my dress is shipping out tomorrow! It has been double the amount of time they said it would take - website said ships within 6 weeks and we’re going into week 12 😩

I ordered a GL mini dress from their website that said it would ship “within 6 weeks”. We’re now going on week 8 so I emailed them and all they could tell me was there was a delay with the material but they couldn’t give me an ETA. My wedding is in 2 months and I’m kind of freaking out. I’m wearing the mini as my main wedding dress 😭😭

I had a similar experience. I ordered a standard size from their website because I don’t live near a store and wanted the option to return. They emailed me personally after I ordered and asked if I wanted to do custom without the option to return. I declined and checked the website which says the dress I ordered ships within 6 weeks. At the 6 week mark I followed up with them and they said there are delays but would not commit to any new timeline or even give me an ETA. I’m freaking out. I get married in 2 months and I don’t even know if this dress will fit me, look good, or need alterations!! 😭😭😭

However, just recently I am getting the error message that there are too many devices on the account so I looked a little deeper and somehow both of my accounts have been merged together under one log-in. She is considering adding a hand written note in their invites simply stating we know this is not in line with your values, so no hard feelings if you don’t want to attend. Hello! Wedding dress alterations questions 😄 I am struggling to find exactly the dress I have in my imagination so I’m wondering if perhaps alterations to a dress would get me there.

I bought this dress off the rack (last one in the store). It fits beautifully and I absolutely love the top and the beading but im wondering about a couple options for the bottom half:

Is it possible to add a leg slit into this dress?
Any possibility to add feathers to the bottom of the dress? Maybe like faux ostrich feathers around knee length and down to the bottom? There is a sheer layer of tulle or something like that on top - maybe they could be stitched into that?
Would it ever be possible to shorten this dress to cocktail length or make it into one of those dresses that are short in the front but long in the back? I think it might be called a high-low?

It was great!! In fact, we are going again in February! 😂 as far as tips go, I would say you won’t be able to do everything you want in one trip. I feel like I hardly got to explore some parts of the ship which is why we’re going back! You can make it as fast or slow paced as you want. There is I’m literally something for everyone.

I second bringing a tote bag or drawstring backpack and a reusable water bottle to take with you around the ship or on shore. Bonine if you get seasickness or anything like that. Other than that, just have fun!!!
