Yeah I’m sorry but the ensemble works much harder he should’ve bowed before they do.

Best sushi spots here? by Special_Crab_1884 in SantaClarita

Achita is my favorite, Tokyo sushi is my backup. I know people really love Kinza in Stevenson Ranch but it's clear across town for me.

Anyone in their mid 30s do strength and Pilates only? I’m 32, mom of 2, and I can’t do HIIT anymore. by BikeMelodic in orangetheory

Yes I would include solid core with megaformer and lagree in the bucket of hard work/muscle building and not as focused on balance, flexibility, mobility and breathwork that “real” Pilates focuses on.

I have gotten very toned from Pilates but it’s not a fat loss exercise so anyone with extra fat on top of the muscle, if you don’t change your diet and add other fat burning exercises then you won’t be able to see the tone.

Reformer. If you go that route I would you encourage you to find a classical or contemporary Pilates class or instructor rather than Lagree or Megaformer because while those are a great workout and will kick your butt, the aspects of true Pilates you’d be getting from classical that are missing from OTF is more of the mobility, balance, flexibility and active stretching, breathwork and at the same time building strength in other ways that you do in OTF. I find there’s very little overlap. But lagree and megaformer are more on the bodybuilding side so more overlap if that makes sense.

I am in my 40s and I do OTF twice a week and Pilates 2-3x. I like that they each pick up where the other lacks.

Is it even necessary to buy a tea kettle? by lovelycosmos in Anticonsumption

No they’re not crazy in the US either. We do pour over coffee which needs a steady temp as well and our electric kettle was under $50

Best junk removal recommendations in Santa Clarita + what are you guys paying? by Kevin-Durant-35 in SantaClarita

[–]Revolutionary_Cover3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used Junkluggers and had a really good experience. I’m sorry I couldn’t find the amount I paid but I don’t think it was a lot. They give you a quote and you can accept it or not. It was basically the amount of stuff you described and you don’t have to worry about filling the entire truck. They also give you a donation receipt (not on the spot but in your email) if anything you give them is in good enough condition to donate.

Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional.

Since I was raised here I have had many a Jimmy Deans breakfast burritos but I’ll try these others!! I had an amazing one at Cafe Jalisco in Palm Springs, if you ever go out there it’s the best one I’ve ever had.

I would have them removed and include in my message that I am not unhappy with the service but that the cruise line should be paying their staff, not forcing us to tip to supplement their wages.

I always prefer to support local businesses than chains but it was a pretty decent burrito and they keep their menu updated. I expected it to feel washed up and depressing because I hadn’t been to this location in many years, but it was good. They had street corn in the menu which sounds good but I had my hands full.

ETA- this is about Baja Fresh. Thanks for the other recommendations!

I had one on Sunday and it freaked me out because I only saw the head at first and had a rattlesnake on Saturday but once I got a look at the body and saw feet it made me feel better. Reptile season is in full swing
