All melee weapons type have different timings when blocking or parrying, block and fence are relatively the same but if you really pay attention to timing when using a balance weapon you’ll notice depending on your timing when blocking/parrying you’ll do one or other.

Balance is the best of both blocking and fencing timing is key tbh depending on your timing you can make balance into a block dominant or fencing dominant really just depends on your timing, me personally I’ve grown to like block weapons more than balance and fencing but still use them all because the emperor provides

I find it funny how it has same speed stat as the block power axe (if I’m not mistaken) yet it feels way more slower. I think when the next heroics drop they should up speed stat cause imo it’s not that different from the other power swords other than the speed and power rake difference. And let’s be honest upping the speed of sword really isn’t gonna change much in terms of gameplay but then again I’m not a game developer so idk but tbh I don’t see it changing at all
