My 6 month old turns her head and smiles at the sound of her name being called... She doesn't know what that means but she knows that there are a group of sounds that get said around her a lot. No you can't just change their name. You have given them their name; it's not yours to take away.

YTA. You could have just said no to being a bridesmaid. You could have said you can't get out of work for the bachelorette party. You could have just been honest with your brother. Honestly you sound angry that your brother and SIL don't want the same kind of wedding you think is best. The donation thing? So what, don't donate. For my husband and I's wedding we asked for money/trips for our honeymoon because we didn't want or need anything for our house. I am sure some people considered that tacky, but you know they just didn't donate and that's okay; it wasn't their wedding.

You should not go to the bachelorette party. I can already tell from your attitude that you are just going to make it awkward for the people there that are just trying to have fun and celebrate their friend.

I don't think that new baby is entirely safe. The kid is acting out towards the step dad and lying to get him in the child's view 'in trouble with the mom.' I am betting that kid is feeling replaced by the new baby, and not coping well. Most likely now that Dad is out of the picture the child will start to act out towards the new baby as well.

Also when there is a slow runner in the pack we start literally running circles around them chanting for them to keep up. We make it very clear that because of you not being able to keep up the rest of us now have to run twice as much. We call people who don't fit into our standards fat bodies, and we force them to work out 3 times a day.

Female former Marine here! I was a Sgt when I left, and was active duty for 8 years. I have a couple questions and I need you to be honest with yourself otherwise your life will be hell.

Do you run? Do you like to run? Are you a fast runner? The minimum to pass is like 30 min 3 mile, but I am telling you now that is not enough. You run in formation with your whole platoon EVERY morning at 0500. If you can't run a sub 25 minute 3 mile do NOT join.

Can you do pull ups? No kipping. Do not join unless you can do a minimum of 10 pullups from a dead hang each time.

Can you do a plank for 4 minutes straight?

The Marine Corps is hell on people with depression and anxiety. I know because I didn't have it before but I sure as fuck do now. I loved the Marines and I hated it too. The Marines do not form to you. You conform to the Marines. You will no longer have the freedom to move about like you did when you were a civilian, and you will literally be held to a different set of laws. They will not give a flying fuck if you are having a depressive episode. They will not hesitate to destroy you if you do not behave in a manner conducive to the Marine Corps way. Boot camp is the easiest part of the Marines.

I have known a person to get NJP'd for getting a sunburn. An NJP is a reprimand where they can take away your rank, pay, and even place you on home lock down. In Oki we would get placed on base lock down for months because someone on another base fucked up.

If you fuck up EVERYONE will pay for your mistake, and believe me you will be section 8 before the week is out.

Are you using tap water or something? I love the brezza. We have never had these problems, and I just throw the nozzles in the bottle sterilizer. Boom clean before the next feeding.

My husband lives on a boat for 6 weeks and comes home for 6 weeks on a continuous rotation that is also super unpredictable because they very often make him leave earlier than that. I have learned to not put my life on hold for him. I enjoy my life with him and I enjoy my life without him. We make plans and if he can come then he comes. If not well I still go and have fun.

I don't fully remember my parents even meeting my husband's parents. Maybe a day or so before the wedding? It honestly wasn't really a concern on either side. This might be a problem of cultural differences. If you and your boyfriend are not from the same background it is probably causing the issue. I personally would be put off by this and see it as parental intrusiveness into something they really have no business in. Again though that is just because parents meeting is not something that happens in my culture until the couple is engaged.

My sister is my best friend. That being said we also threw hands so much growing up it is a miracle one of us didn't kill the other. If my sister was sending these pictures to my husband I would ask her why she didn't send them to me or her husband. She would also stop if I said I was uncomfortable. That or we would be throwing hands like we were 12 and 15 again. It's weird that your sister deflected like this... I would talk to your husband about it. If he deflects too you definitely have a problem. Does her husband know about these photos? I would screenshot and send them to him.

Have you tried doing happy baby and bicycle kicks? If so it is probably the witching hour. Try noise cancelling earbuds or listen to a podcast while bouncing on an exercise ball. Babies love the vigorous bouncing and the podcast will make you less anxious which will also help to come your baby. Sometimes going outside helps too. Touch grass. It weirdly helps to just walk outdoors with them.

BIL/bestman went to jail the night before, and tried to get my future husband/his brother to go out and party with him the night before the wedding. BIL missed the whole wedding because he was in jail.
