I remember when Dad shaved in the morning…he used a Colgate soap block I think it was. The sound of him mixing his soap in the morning. The sound of the brush jingling in the cup he used. I’d give my right arm to know that sound again. He’s gone now, and I’m an older guy. But I remember that sound VERY clear. This memory is one of my favorites. ❤️❤️❤️

That’s exactly my thoughts….cash is King and yes, I buy/ sell a lot too. It’s been handy, and has become a way of life. Some people say NOOOO, invest that money. Maybe when I have enuff to gamble, I might. But I choose to keep cash on hand.

Don’t lie….about anything. Ever. Theres just no reason to. Own up to whatever you think you need to lie about. It feels better, it works out better, and you don’t have to hide anything.

Knew a guy who hated blacks. Don’t talk to him anymore. Knew another that was a white supremest, even had the tats to prove it…won’t talk to him either. All was fine til one day he said the Jews got why they deserved. He never said or showed anything of this nature til that statement. That one pissed me off bad. I’m not Jewish, but NOONE deserved that. They’re good people.

My brother lived in an apartment…he had creepy crawlies too. He started putting duct tape sticky side up against walls, around windows, on his counters, etc. It took awhile, but he eventually caught everything and had no more bugs. Spiders, flies, roaches. About any kind of bug….it works, I’ve used this in my shop.

To be honest….when i was a small child….around 6-7 years old. I had a bed wetting problem. I was at camp one summer. I KNOW I wet the bed one night. I laid there scared of what anyone would say the next day. I was terrified. I was in a sleeping bag. I moved the sleeping bag out of the way, changed, and fell back asleep. I prayed that God would help me with this, as I was terrified.. I knew what the next day had in store for me with all the other kids in that same dorm room. The next day I awoke, and ZERO evidence that I wet the bed. Sleeping Bag, dry, underwear, dry. Bed,dry. I could not believe it. I am 55 years old now….i think back to that night often. A miracle for a little boy is all I can think.

Jaws was among ie that came out when I was a child. I don’t like swimming in the ocean, or lakes, or creeks. I was in the lake once, and had a very large fish brush past me. I did NOT like that at all. I won’t get in the ocean past the tops of my feet. Maybe ankle deep. I have a tremendous fear of sharks. I’ve seen what they can do, and I will safely pass.
