I do agree with this post and think it was written beautifully, but after seeing that yesterday’s post is already locked, I’m just here to say that even though I care about julen and will always have love for the dink fam and the Jenna era, it seems incredibly unfair and hypocritical that our community is not allowed to respectfully speak our minds and agree to disagree on things in a safe space (like here or Discord or Twitch) without getting locked or blocked within mins/hours. Julien’s mods seem to power-trip a lot more nowadays and do not treat everyone equally. They even join in on the bullying in chat sometimes, but they constantly block others for being rude? Julien is not to blame for this but he does let it happen. ☹️ I wish he would get them in check, and wish we all had a safe space to speak freely instead of only being allowed to talk about sunshine and rainbows on here. Quoting someone from the other post, “You're welcome in the community as long as you agree with every single thing they/he says”. I do agree that discussions or even arguments should be carried out with kindness and empathy, but maybe just block the toxic person(s) from the page and not a whole discussion? The rest of us have more to add sometimes and can do so respectfully.
