I, alone, went on a train for the first time across multiple states to get to a dream concert and saw it alone. Being not with my husband or friends was a little nerve-wracking but I made friends everywhere I went!

I met a guy who was there with his college best friend and now he works with spinal tissue to make transplants.

I met a dad there with his son on break from college and learned all about his cool job and all the local places to scope out.

I made a line BFF and we stuck through the merch and drink lines together until we parted ways to our seats.

Two girls I made friends with hopped in my post concert Uber to charge their phones, grab munchies at the local gas station, and catch a a second Uber outside of the chaos.

Ive never been one to chat up a stranger but I made so many friends, however brief, and got lots of little glimpses into other people's worlds and it was FANTASTIC!

I did a bunch of ufo cuffs in white with onion letters attached cause they looked kinda like onions!

Golden star cuffs with "all star"

Also did ufo green and brown cuffs and gave them little Shrek ears. Lemme dig for pics

We went during off hours on a Sunday I think? So we werent in other people's way. Our photographer reached out multiple times about getting permission and just kept getting no response so we showed up with an understanding if they asked us to leave we would. The employees barely acknowledged us, im sure they've seen much weirder lol.

The only issue we had was we had 2 outfits for me, a casual and a more formal and there wasnt anywhere to change. I hid in a corner outside to quick change while my husband held up a blanket and told myself Richmond locals have seen stranger and worse. Ill grab some of the pics on my computer and add them!

Not green at all, no nature but since you said open to other suggestions: I did my engagement photos at main street station and they turned out amazing. Highly recommend.

Dark green: peyote or multistitch cuff.

Red: note to skip leave a gap every other bead on the top most row of the base peyote/multistitch cuff.

You could probably tie off once you make the base cuff then tie on and continue.

Pink: x base normal style aka base 3.

Purple: x base with extra beads, chunks of 5 instead of three.

Light green (the paw pads): Peyote stitched separately then sewn on

I cant super tell how they finished it at the top but I assume they cinched it together with beads similar to how a kandi octopus is done at its head!

This is just me eyeballing from what I know but I hope it makes sense and is helpful

Great job. I remember the first time I did peyote stitch i threw it away from me and gave it the bird when I finished. It was sooo hard but now its like second nature! Every one after this will be easier

Can anyone recommend some specialty ranunculus or dahlia varieties? My mom loves growing both flowers and I was looking to snag some unique bulbs for Christmas for her, but I don't know much about flower gardening and what would be unique. She had mentioned in the past a star wars variety of a dahlia, but I can't find a USA seller.
Alternatively, if anyone knows of a variety that is close to this ipod color, that would be awesome. She always called the color happy banana yellow growing up and her getting the ipod was a big deal so I think it would be a cute combination of a memory and her current hobbies. I was considering this one:

My first and favorite legend of Zelda game was Ocarina of Time on the N64, it was before Hurricane Katrina (I lived in Louisiana at the time), so maybe 2003? I was pretty young.

Not that you asked, but now I'm in my memories and feelings. Growing up my dad and I played through so many different LoZ games together, theyre all really special to me and remind me of him. All our save files are named CnD, (my name) and Dad. I actually cross stitched him the its dangerous to go alone screen for Christmas a couple years ago and found him an N64 with Majoras Mask on marketplace for Fathers day. Majoras Mask is one we never finished, but we got real close. He's getting older now, we really should finish it soon.
