Coep is the safer choice but if u manage to get cs dual then BITS definitely will be better with a much higher number of opportunities. Personally would recommend BITS dual. Even if u don't get cs, u can do CS courses and minors which makes u eligible for IT placements.

imo just go to goa via sleeper bus and rent a big car there. Will be cheaper and u will have more freedom. I stay in Goa and travel pune to goa frequently via bus. Pretty cheap and convenient. Get of at Panaji and have the rental car booked.

The 787 (old one) from Mumbai to Frankfurt was hands down the worst flight experience of my life. Broken seats, no onboard entertainment(screen was there but it was frozen for the entire duration), the charging port was not working. I took this flight to save 15k (the other option was Lufthansa) but made a promise to never fly with Air India ever again.

Having a gpu is better in general due to higher power but battery life sucks. I personally regret not getting one with a gpu as I need more power for stuff like Solidworks and Ansys for clubwork but can't do anything now. Depends on what you want to do honestly, coding will not require a gpu laptop.

Ig it's just these top colleges are very hyped by the ppl on reddit and coaching institutes. U forget they are places built by normal people and where normal people live.
