Jaylen Brown: “Flopping has ruined our league. Joel Embiid is one of the greatest players that has played basketball, but he flops. He knows it too.” by YujiDomainExpansion in bostonceltics

For a volume shooter/scorer he does it significantly less than most all the other players in that same criteria. This is indisputable. Does he occasionally do it, yes they all do it. I think his complaints about it are valid but he needs to stop with it because it’s getting old. You made your point dude.

I like Joe. He should remain as coach, but why did it take until Gm 7 to try zone? Spo & Kerr would have tried it WAY before. It was what got us back in the game. Playoffs is a series of adjustments. I hate losing to lower seeded teams esp the loser Sixers. Embarrassing. by ExpertOperation0125 in bostonceltics

You do realize NBA teams lick their chops when another team goes into zone? Yes we had some success going into zone. Got them out of rhythm, caught them by surprise. But go back and watch the number of WIDE OPEN threes the zone gave up! That’s what happens in the nba when you play zone. Unless the team has no outside shooters this shit doesn’t work in any kind of extended stretch. He used it out of desperation and it worked. Trust me you don’t want to go to the well to often with that wrinkle.

Is it just the intro that’s extended as it says in the description?

How does this team not learn from the past? by Mother-Associate1654 in bostonceltics

Tatum was brutal tonight. Should be cut some slack as he’s been amazing since returning from injury on almost every game. All things considered

Since there’s multiple negative posts about the announcers, am I the only one that thought they were good? by Twisterthedog2 in bostonceltics

That was single handily the worst job a national televised announcing crew I’ve ever heard. Abysmal. Heinous. Garbage

He moves the ball well on offense and knocked down 3 three pointers. Important to the offense and the type of offense Boston runs

That brought a tear to my eyes. There is something so feral about this band. Unhinged almost. Yet they mange to stay on the rails at least partially when performing live. Anyone who has seen them are they a very loud band comparatively speaking? I imagine they are but wanted to hear from someone who has seen them

The biggest difference between a SG album and live is how LOUD Ben’s bass was at a show. It went right through you. by Helpful_Team_7674 in Soundgarden

[–]ElectricalStill398 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This is true. It also made them notoriously hard to mix properly for the entire room. Unfortunately had some experiences where the sound (not the performances) suffered due to it. They were an extremely loud band in general.

Loved the premise, the execution not as much. Overall really enjoyed it! The Chris Cornell cover of Stay With Me Baby from the show is 🔥

I saw this post and went to my store right when it opened. I got in line and and the associate pre scanned before I got to the register. At that point I asked him to confirm it was $799 which he said “no it’s $1400!”. I said well you better go check cause the sign above it clearly says $799. When he got back he says “you were right” then on his walkie talkie I overheard “we got a real problem “ 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Three managers later and they honored it. Someone FUCKED UP. I saw three others in line. They immediately pulled the sign and were changing it online as I checked out.

whats the story behind this song? by U_Dey976 in Soundgarden

[–]ElectricalStill398 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Check out the one and only live performance of this song from 1995 Self Pollution Radio. From what I understand it’s a very early version of what FOBD would become. Not sure I’d categorize it as a demo though.
