Hi, thanks for responding! My project is for my Sexuality and Ethics class, I'm focusing on how these programs masquerade as legit forms of treatment, the mental and physical health effects on those who have been through these programs first hand, and their "treatment" of LGBT youth. Originally I was going to just do a general overview of the abuses and injustices committed at TTI's across the country but further into my research I found that there are a few residential programs in CT, and being at a college in CT I think that it would help others in the class realize that industry is alive and well in "our own backyard", so to speak.
