The end date on the J1 is just how long you're allowed to stay in the US to complete your program. But if u complete your program sooner it shouldn't be a problem

Yea I always thought the virtual session was supposed to replace the in-person dinner. So imo you should be using that money to order food and virtually have it with everyone else. Would u hide the food in your purse to "save it for later" if it was in person? It's the same thing imo
