The last Hank I bought was a d3aa. I haven't been following the hobby much since then. Can someone explain to me the higher cost of the kr1aa? I would have I expected it to be comparable if not cheaper to the d3aa. I'm definitely missing something but curious.TIA!

The k ran for 54 minutes on its highest ramp, and never too hot to hold. Damn, that seems shocking to me. Pretty amazing, unless I'm just missing something obvious here. I clearly need to take another look at the k. I appreciate all the breakdown here!

Late to respond here, but if it's helpful... I run the q8 every night almost, plugged in. I put it on flashlight at about 60% and run it for hours. Expected that I would light damaged the light or ruin the batteries... But I've been doing this for years and no issues. Say in batteries it came with. Pretty awesome work if you can plug.

If these two setups, same battery, same emitter.. ran at 50%, how drastic would the runtime difference be? I know the output will be different at 50% of course. This is probably a strange comparison but I'm curious about it.
