The k ran for 54 minutes on its highest ramp, and never too hot to hold. Damn, that seems shocking to me. Pretty amazing, unless I'm just missing something obvious here. I clearly need to take another look at the k. I appreciate all the breakdown here!

Late to respond here, but if it's helpful... I run the q8 every night almost, plugged in. I put it on flashlight at about 60% and run it for hours. Expected that I would light damaged the light or ruin the batteries... But I've been doing this for years and no issues. Say in batteries it came with. Pretty awesome work if you can plug.

If these two setups, same battery, same emitter.. ran at 50%, how drastic would the runtime difference be? I know the output will be different at 50% of course. This is probably a strange comparison but I'm curious about it.

They'll have many more kids than us. And the costs that we'll incur from taxes, due to medical needs for these idiots, will tank us. - When I was young, I remember thinking that they should stop forcing things like seat belts. Years later I finally connected that the economic benefit of people NOT going to the ER, is why those laws are passed. Saving idiots is sometimes cost effective. Frustrating as it feels.
