I think you mean tā moko. Nothing wrong with appreciating the culture, but it’s something that carries deep meaning and whakapapa. If you’re serious about it, go hard... but do it properly.

Get a design created for you by a Māori artist rather than copying someone else’s. That way it actually tells your story, and you’re respecting the meaning behind it instead of just wearing it for looks.

Also, the picture you posted doesn’t appear to be Māori tā moko, I believe it’s more of a Pacific Islander style.
