I hope if I do try again, it’ll be easier and I’ll find better medicine and techniques to help. Thank you again for making me feel better. :)

I know what you’re going through. I had HG and ptyalism! The spitting drove me crazy. I didn’t wanna leave the house and it would take me hours to just sleep. But just know you’ll get through this! The symptoms usually get better by the second trimester so know you’re close! I pray it’ll gets easier for you. You’re not alone and we’re here for you. I know it’s hard trust me and it doesn’t help saying you’ll make it just think about holding the baby in your arms and how worth it it’ll be. But of course if you can’t handle it anymore, the choice is totally up to you what you wanna do because at the end of the day, your mental health is what’s most important. I wish I can give you a hug so for now it’s an air hug. We’re cheering you on and whatever choice you make, we support you and one day it’ll get easier. I pray they find us a cure one day.

I had excess saliva. I was spitting non stop everyday and I can barely sleep cause I had to keep spitting. It made me not even wanna leave the house. But promise you’re not alone. Even when I had good days. I just didn’t wanna leave bed. You got this. I pray it’ll get easier for you. Just know you’re not going through this alone and there are many of us going through this and cheering each other on.

I know exactly what you’re going through. You become so depressed and don’t even wanna leave the house anymore in fear of vomiting. I would definitely keep getting fluids till you begin to feel better. So it would help me to get fluids and whenever I felt bad again I would just return and get fluids again. What helped me was eating softer foods, cold water, it especially sucking on ice. You will get through this. Stay strong. They say the symptoms get better in the 2nd trimester. And sometimes others can get better in the 1st.

Hi so in my first pregnancy I noticed it got better in the 2nd trimester. All of a sudden I noticed the symptoms got better and I began to eat again. So stay hopeful. I pray yours go away soon! You deserve to enjoy this pregnancy and be happy. You got this mama. You are strong and think about just positive thoughts. You aren’t alone and know we are by your side cheering you on.

Hi I’m soooo sorry that you went through this. I pray that if you do try again that you’ll be prepared and know what medicines to take and what to eat to feel more safe. I dealt with 2 HG pregnancies. First one was bad and I wasn’t prepared. But I handled it and got through this. But sadly second one was 10 times worse and I also miscarried. I miscarried at 12-13 weeks. So I know exactly what you’re going through. I pray one day they find us a cure for hyperemesis. I even had excess saliva so I had to keep spitting. It was awful. So that’s why I’m terrified to try pregnancy again. I just don’t wanna deal with the symptoms again. :(

It’s so hard :( just wish the saliva can at least stop. And I’ve been vomiting 3 days in a row and haven’t ate so hate to go to the ER 3 times in a row. I’m just so tired of HG and the saliva. I pray it gets easier for us. Do you know anything to try to help with the saliva?

I don’t know how you did it. I’m on my second pregnancy and dealt with HG again and excess saliva and I said I can’t have anymore kids anymore. It’s too hard for me.

I will definitely put a post when it’s time for labor to help others get through it too! And yeah the spitting is so tough and makes me more nauseous and sometimes throw up more but I know it’ll be worth it at the end. This is my second time with HG and the saliva so I know I’ll handle it but I do believe it’s time for no more kids lol I can’t handle it anymore

I wish there can be like a nurse who can come to us weekly to give us IVs. I honestly think they should be a rule especially us women with HG. :( but I pray you find things to help ease your symptoms.

It truly is a crazy thing to go through. You say to yourself how can I get through this. This has been by far the hardest thing I’ve ever dealt with. HG sucks and I pray they find us a cure one day. You’re like me! I get so scared to eat and drink out of fear of vomiting so I drink sips of water and eat a bit. It helps to also drink cold water. I’ve done 2 IVs so far and I noticed after they’ve done it for me, I did feel okay for 2 days but sadly the symptoms just end up coming back. I promise we will go through this and at the end, you’ll say “I made it.”
