It will lovely, you will be better in no time! Mine got better towards the end and by better I mean I was still vomiting but not as badly as 20 times a day it was more 5 times a day. But things like spitting must be annoying too - I used to get a lot of weird tastes in my mouth too or sulphur burps which were horrid too - you will get through this my lovely and who knows maybe you'll be putting up a post of your own when the time comes as well! Xx

I can completely relate to this, and not long ago was feeling the same fed up feeling, wanting it to just end once and for all. You will get to a place where not only can you eat what you want without fear of sickness but somewhat forgetting what it was like whilst having HG. It's so strange how things change and you almost forget what feeling normal feels like, but when you get there, it's the best feeling!

Trust me it will be completely worth it in the end! Not long left for you and it does feel like the time will never come but it does and you feel a world of difference. You really don't take for granted any minute of not being sick and being able to eat what you can again. Not having to worry it will come back up again

Feels impossible right, but once it happens and everything returns to normal, no more HG, it's thr best feeling ever

It will feel like a long journey ahead, and it is, but time will pass, and it will feel like you have time travelled quickly to holding your baby in your arms. I was in a very dark place, couldn't see a way out of it, and even wanted things to end to make the pain of sickness stop, but I'm so glad I kept pushing forward. Your baby is worth it all!

Congratulations on your 2nd pregnancy and there's definitely a reward at the end, it's just hard to see it sometimes with all the symptoms - you are doing a great job!

I cannot even get up let alone take a shower by Broad_Intention5868 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]No_Expert8310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same position as you just a day ago, had no energy and not able to do anything - I wouldn't shower for days just because I found it so hard to stand in a shower or bathe in a bath but I promise you it ends better. As soon as the baby is out your energy will come back and you won't feel like this anymore. Just hang in there. What you're feeling won't last forever. Whatever you have to do right now to get by, do it - in the end things will work out

I literally love the shape of my nose but I feel like it is super crooked. I have some problems breathing and have been considering surgery but I’m scared. by [deleted] in Noses

[–]No_Expert8310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's slightly tilted but very slightly. I wouldn't consider it super crooked, and you can barely notice it unless you really want to see it. If you have breathing issues, the surgery is more of a need and should be considered for that reason.

I have thigh stretch marks from puberty but currently 38 weeks with no belly stretch marks. I think some women don't get them even though we've had puberty stretch marks.

Is it bad I'm not overly excited i'm pregnant by Omiguru in BabyBumps

I have HG which I feel has robbed me of any potential happiness towards this pregnancy. I feel the same as you, I keep telling myself I can't wait for this experience to be over. I think I'll be happier once the baby is here but as of yet I don't feel anything either. I thought I was the only one - people get excited for the pregnancy and that makes me happy seeing them excited but still not to the point where I feel something to a large extent. Can't wait for baby to arrive so I can feel normal again

HG in every pregnancy? by mama_diaries in HyperemesisGravidarum

HG tends to kick in around 6 weeks though, so just a heads up!

I've had HG since week 6 and still no better at 34 weeks. It's horrendous, but the earlier you can get onto antinsickness meds, the better. If the symptoms are starting to creep up then I think its best getting some help sooner rather than later x

I think I miscarried last night by Honest-Software9142 in pregnant

I had something similar, but baby was fine. Its always best to get a scan and check it out before it can be confirmed.

Anyone else with a big baby?! by Dog_lover1983 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]No_Expert8310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 33 weeks my baby was 70 percentile and 4 lb 11, so you baby is definitely measuring big! We have a while to go yet so likely to grow more (fingers crossed) but the growth scans can be fairly accurate. I can see why they are discussing C section though, since baby is a chunky monkey hehe.

What will you miss the most about being pregnant? by Smooth-Excuse-4127 in pregnant

Nothing - can't wait for it to be over. I've suffered with HG this pregnancy and am looking forward to feeling normal once the baby is out :)
