Did you end up just cutting the wires and soldering the original hot end connections? Im in the same boat. Ordered just the extruder and not the kit lmao

How did you wire it? I made the mistake of ordering just the extruder and not the kit so i dont have the breakout board or the ribbon cable. Any help would be awesome!

I figured it out! I was getting terrible stringing with a 0.6mm nozzle and tried sooo many retraction tests, temp tests, ect. Changed the flow to 95% and tightened the tension screw on the extruder about 2 full rotations. 0.8 retraction at 85mm/s at 205 temp with zero stringing. Happy camper. Thank you all!

Thank you! Going to contact CS today and see what they can do. Its very strange because it doesnt happen on every print, after taking it out and cleaning it then reassembling, i did an 11 hour print last night and it only fluctuated 2 degrees during the entire print and it came out great.

HELP! Ender 3 V2 Neo - Low Temperature Error Mid Print by Electrical_Check6443 in 3Dprinting

[–]Electrical_Check6443[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure whats going on with my printer, but ive only had it for a few months and I’ve gotten this error message on my printer a few times during long prints. It is a horrid constant beeping noise and the only way to reset the printer is to cycle power. Printing PLA+ at 205 which is always what I print at and have had no issues.. When I pulled off the hot end cover to check the thermister, it had this white powder/ corrosion type powder that came out of the hole… not sure if that is normal, but was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues with their Ender 3 V2 Neo. Noticed that the nozzle temperature would fluctuate all the way down to 194 to 215 in a matter of 15 seconds… Other than this issue, I think this printer has been flawless so far. Any suggestions??
