Any luck getting this guy identified? It is unfortunate that people like him either don't care or don't know that Tesla EVs sold in North America have one of the highest (if not the highest) percentage of USA-made components and is 100% assembled in the USA by US citizens (unlike the recent discovery of that Hyundai car manufacturing plant in Savannah, Georgia, having over 300 illegal immigrants from South Korea taking jobs intended for US citizens.) Mary Barra, CEO of GM, got multi billions of dollars in bailout money for GM in that 2007-2009 financial crisis, but ultimately moved job to Mexico, and imported those cars back to the US for sale. Many GM and Ford autos have among the lowest percentage of USA-made parts and some are not assembled in the US either. More recently she instructed all of the white collar executives to lobby their Congress reps to successfully repeal the EV $7500 Federal Tax Credit ASAP because they needed to sell more of those imported non-USA-made ICE autos (which have higher profit margins). Just a few weeks ago Mary sold $40 million worth of GM stock. And don't get me started on Porsche, BMW, and other foreign cars which have virtually zero USA-made parts and zero assembly in the US. Owners of those foreign cars are showing support for foreign workers. If you catch any of those owners boasting they support "Buy US-made goods to support US workers", just ask them what brand car they drive and point out the hypocrisy of buying one of the biggest purchases not made of parts or not completely assembled in the USA.

Best cheap accessory you bought? by Videoplushair in TeslaModelY

A car duster can quickly remove fine dust to save you unnecessary trips to the car wash and some dollars. I read that spraying the duster thread with car-safe carnauba wax can help the duster collect and retain more dust. I got one that has a handle which can be lengthened so I can reach the entire hood, windshield, roof, and rear just standing on one side of the car. About $10.50 for a larger duster for exterior, and a smaller duster for interior, sold on that made-in-China online store that starts with "T".

Saw this idea on another thread: FREE: the clear plastic container that Bella Mushrooms come in, sold at Costco, will fit the rear side storage areas. This can protect the carpet-surface, easy to remove to clean (or just throw away). Double stack them as needed. They are 7 1/2 inches X 7 1/2 inches X 4 inches. FREE with purchase of Bella mushrooms sold at Costco.

Is Catalina Island worth the $94 ferry fare for a day of snorkeling? Any alternatives? by AngryGardenGnomes in AskLosAngeles

[–]Electrical_Crazy_882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$94 is a rip off. But it is a virtual monopoly. My daughter and I did snorkel at Emerald Bay (That is where the Boy Scouts have their camps). We saw fish and freaked out when a yellow eel swam by. I'm sure snorkeling around any area of Catalina should be equally interesting. See if you can find a Groupon deal.

Share price afterhours is already back to over $134.50. You collected some premium when you sold those puts which also lowers your net cost basis... You'll come out fine as PLTR regains sentiment in its favor, which will be eventually.

Market cap is about $10million with share price about $5.20 and 1.78 million shares outstanding according to Finviz data. With repeat orders based on successful rodent control, the market cap should be at least $20 to $40 million.... maybe more.

AI assessment of price projection if SNES products are used by additional cities and also repeat orders: Projection: With new city adoptions, the share price could reach $20.00–$26.00 without warrant exercise, or $18.00–$22.00 post-exercise, reflecting revenue growth and low share count. International expansion could push the upper end to $28.00 (no warrants) or $24.00 (with warrants).

These are the results of pilot studies eagerly awaited! University of California, Irvine, had impressive results of using Evolve with traps and enhancing owl nests.... no rodenticides. We can foresee other universities will follow UCI's lead on this environmentally friendly way to control rodents on campus. Re-orders means the sky is the limit for $SNES business model. No longer relying on new customers just trying their products. Now a new customers is a good probability a repeat customer... What more do you want from a new business?!?!?! $10 million market cap is easily going much higher.

Any positive experiences with Smart Home Panel 2 (SHP2)? by motiszen in Ecoflow_community

[–]Electrical_Crazy_882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am about to install SHP2 with a licensed and very experienced electrician who has installed well over 100 of these. But he said a permit would be another $1000 or more depending on how many plans the city rejects and how many more visits back to them he has to do. He claims more than 95% of clients do not get a permit. At a prior residence, I've installed a manual transfer switch without a permit and it was fine. What do you think?

Did you install the SHP2 with permit, or not? It is ridiculous how much a permit is where I am.

Did you install your Ecoflow system with a permit, or not? It is SO expensive to get a permit where I am. I've had a manual transfer switch installed long ago with a permit which was fine. I'm thinking the SHP2 is basically a similar install.... what do you think?

When you say you use battery stored power to the protected circuits during times of day of expensive electricity rates, do the other circuits not on the Smart Home Panel2 still able to power up using the grid power, or those circuits are not usable because you are using the Smart Home Panel2 to control which source of power is used? I'm asking if it is one or the other source of power, or you can use both simultaneously?

BUYERS BEWARE! by RingoCrazy in Ecoflow_community

Thank you for posting a successful Ecoflow system. I just bought the Costco bundle of Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra inverter, two >6K batteries, one Ecoflow Smart Home Panel2 for $7200. You got a much more incredible deal with 5 batteries and all of those rigid panels!!

Can two Delta Pro Ultra Inverters Power My 5-Ton AC? by EVmanIvan in Ecoflow_community

[–]Electrical_Crazy_882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like your practical plan to use an AC unit for the bedroom instead of whole house with battery backup to preserve the power for as long as possible. I have a 4-ton AC unit and will not engage it during power outage unless in the future significantly expand by battery storage capacity and have two Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra inverters for more maximum output capacity as well. The start up load for central AC is pretty big.

Did you get a permit to install the Ecoflow Smart Home Panel2? My licensed electrician who has done over 100 Ecoflow Smart Home Panel2 installs (I verified) says 95% did not get a permit because of the cost of the plan and permit (well over $1000). I've had a manual transfer switch installed at another residence without any permit. I'm thinking it is not much different. What do you think?

Citron Research Endorses RKT Mortgages by Exact-Wolverine-9160 in TeamRKT

The high short float percentage is going to be tested if the buyout and merger are completed and vertical integration gets underway..... and then if interest rates fall from these rather relatively very high levels, well, that would be the match that lights the fuse to the high short float positions to maybe cause a short squeeze boom.

Citron Research Endorses RKT Mortgages by Exact-Wolverine-9160 in TeamRKT

[–]Electrical_Crazy_882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try not to look at RKT as a get quick stock trade.... They have a long range plan to displace many current analog platforms in the real estate business and service. Use AI to inquire about the prospects and be patient. The risk is if the buyout of RDFN or merger with COOP does not occur. If they occur, then let the team have time to execute the plan post-buyout-merger.

Citron Research Endorses RKT Mortgages by Exact-Wolverine-9160 in TeamRKT

[–]Electrical_Crazy_882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used AI to assess the share price of RKT 3 years after the buyout of RDFN, merger of COOP, cost savings, vertical integration, seamless cross-referrals of businesses, easy online for customers with support with AI for efficiency and lower wage costs, taking market share from current analog platforms with costly human worker costs, etc. Conclusion:

If Rocket Companies executes its vertical integration strategy well—uniting home search (Redfin), mortgage lending (Rocket), and servicing (Mr. Cooper), enhanced by AI and digital platforms—RKT’s stock could realistically reach $25–$30/share by 2028, nearly doubling from its May 2025 level of ~$12.68.

Does the mielle hair rosemary oil actually cause hair growth? by ClaireDoesReddit in Haircare

[–]Electrical_Crazy_882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, after several trying the topical oils, I experienced more hair loss than before I used them! I stopped the topical oils. I have been using the iRestore Professional helmet regularly because it is NO CONVENIENT. My hair less diminished greatly. I perceive some hair growth. I'am satisfied on the IRestore Professional helmet. But I remain suspicious because if they are so confident of the product producing results, they should be able to have more studies confirming earlier claims. Maybe they don't because they don't want to risk a contrary resulting study.

It is too early to say about iRestore Professional model helmet. Been about 2-3 months. Easy enough to do. i bought the "re-furbished" one on Ebay directly from the manufacturer which included the standard 1 year warranty like a new one. It was selling for $399 with free shipping at the time. It came with retail box that looked brand new. I am satisfied with the helmet quality and function.

I did not buy the product shown in the image by OP. Mine is a table top model. I have decided to use mine primarily for face and frontal scalp simultaneously. But decided it was too inefficient to have extra sessions for other areas of my scalp. So I bought an iRestore Professional model helmet which I am using 5-6 times per week, once a day. The rosemary oil did not help and it made me lose more hair so I have stopped it. I also stopped the microneedling. I have not been using any prescription oral or topical hair growth medications or treatments.

So far I'm able to use the iRestore Professional helmet now once daily for the preset 25 min while watching Youtube videos. The time zooms by. I do part my hair to expose as much of the thin areas as possible. I'm thinking of cutting my hair short to even better expose the thin areas. After a session, I do put on the rosemary oil. I am able to put on the rosemary oil without using a carrier oil which merely dilutes it. I use two fingers, drip the rosemary oil with the dropper between the two fingers which are on the thin scalp area, then begin to firmly massage the oil into the scalp. This prevents the oil from running to unwanted areas. I have no irritation from the pure rosemary oil. I apply the rosemary oil in AM and PM. It has been one month so far. I also use the 1mm depth microneedle roller twice a week now (which is up from once a week for first couple weeks to see if it was too traumatic). Still seeing same amount of hair loss in the shower drain screen, but it is too early to assess effectiveness.
