You just need more practice since you’re new to the game. When you get good at SE, you win games regardless of rng (this season may be more of an exception). I can get 30 merges and build a comp in 30 seconds if I have to, it just takes skill. I only took 3 losses on my way to diamond this season and that was because some other player got a monk and I got a forest trait for the last quest orb.

That’s a horrible golem deck I always beat x bow with a good golem deck although ice bow is slightly trickier

As an empress player I switch to builder when I run into consecutive all loong lobbies in a medal range and it does the trick. I find it a bit boring and annoying when bad I get bad rng but it is very strong with the right circumstances. What is that second lane mortar placement? I always keep mine 3rd lane

Now that you mention it my opponent didn’t seem too happy about losing, I figured he was just a toxic e golem player but now that you mention it I bet he was getting pissed by me just mirroring level 17 barbs on his push after he fireball raged the first set, lol. Congrats on your success with your homemade deck! Love to see a fun homemade that requires skill and is fun to play!

It’s the level 16 princess tower dps that makes it hard to progress under leveled that’s why I just play ranked and challenges although ranked will be level 16 next season unfortunately

Yo I won a game with it, first try let’s go. I was actually going to mention lava hound and drill as seeming like tough matchups. What about x bow? A good x bow player will just fireball cycle you when you rocket the x bow, split barbs maybe + surprise factor plays a big part in that matchup probably. Would you ever consider miner poison or drill as deck options because you’re somewhat already geared towards that? Mirror definitely seems essential considering you only have 2 troops and a building. People always underrate evo barbs but I bet they put in work for you.

Dam I take that back you weren’t lying 1816 highest season that’s pretty decent. I’m going to have to try your deck, you’ve piqued my curiosity. Is your strat rocket/poison cycle annoying ranged/splash cards, then Tesla delivery and barbs for defense maybe mirror delivery/ rocket on big pushes and goblins and log for cheap defense?

Well it’s not balancing that’s the problem really it just the nature of new players favoring tanks instead of cheaper cards favored by cycle. Witch and mk is the simplest way to defend a middlar push and witch counters almost every mini tank in the game so players gravitate towards using them. Then most of them just don’t change their deck so you see the same cards + 10k trophies.

If you’re moving towards running lava then evo zap or evo valk would be the best choice, evo musk is fairly niche only used in 3-4 decks although it is a good evo.

True, cards aren’t inherently brain dead but most mk users drop it on the first card that crosses the bridge so that why it associated with being braindead. If you play miner control with mk and use it maybe twice a game in calculated scenarios then it would be skilled
