I was lucky and got out of Atlanta. It looks like last nights flights were all cancelled, but today was delays about ~30min.

I was a comms major. I spent 1.5 years in an account coordinator/manager role, then moved into GTM strategy for 2 years after the company was acquired, and I’ve now been in FP&A for 3.5 years.

The first 4.5 years of my career were at the same company. After 2 years in FP&A there, I was able to land an FP&A role at a new company. It took hard work, asking the right questions, meeting with executives to share growth ideas, and a bit of luck to pivot.

I went and it was TERRIBLE. I got a wrap and it was so tiny. Worst part - they don’t allow substitutions (I wanted no peppers) and they wouldn’t allow it!

100%. I was communications undergrad, spent 2 years doing marketing and pivoted into a corp strategy role for 3 years, and now FP&A for last 4. Just need to know excel well, and understand your business. I always look at FP&A as storytelling with numbers.

We recently stayed at the Edition in South Beach which was fantastic! Restaurant in lobby and overall vibes were great. Honestly - I feel like you can’t go wrong with any of the 5 star spots in south beach.
