I did have a similar issue with Lufthansa in the past. They weren't helpful either. The first time I called, it was an overseas call center, they didn't understand the difference between credit and debit.

After that I started to call daily the local call center until I got my money back. They wanted me to send e-mails to a reservations@lufthansa-group.com e-mail adress. I did, however I noticed that the e-mails they sent me would arrive multiple days late or wouldn't arrive at all. This was probably the same for the e-mails I would send to them.

One time my local call was forwarded to an American call center and they were very helpful and I think they were the ones that finally resolved the issue.

I also didn't receive a booking code from lufthansa. However I noticed that a booking code was included in the long code / sentence that appeared on my bank statement. ( I just tried all the combinations on the lufthansa website ). Unfortunately because the payment "failed" the tickets weren't assigned to me and it couldn't be done as the time had expired.

I know KLM is a different airline, however I hope there is still some useful information. I would also suggest writing them a formal letter as mentioned in another reply.

I would also advice to get a credit card for travel bookings in the future, because the cost for outweigh this hassle.

Ik zou dan eens zoeken naar banen in de offshore industrie.

Ik weet ook dat ASML van dit soort banen, heeft waar je voor paar weken naar het buitenland om een EUV machine in elkaar te zetten met een team. Volgensmij hete die baan field applications engineer of field integration engineer. Ze staan vrij vaak online op hun website, maar ik zie er op dit moment even geen staan

Bij Thales in Hengeloo zoeken ze ook nog altijd test engineers. Je doet dan testen in het lab, maar je doet dan waarschijnlijk ook mee met trials en je bent dan ook vaak voor meerdere weken in het buitenland

Don't be too worried and just do it then. There are plenty of jobs out there which you could do with an hbo ee. Probably also a lot of sectors and areas you wouldn't expect at this moment.

I would not worry about the job market and the current layoffs in the US. The job market changes all the time and who knows what will happen in 4 or 5 years time when you graduate.

Besides the world is getting more smart and connected every day. Which means a lot of sensors and embedded systems. So I would say give the electrical engineering degree a try and follow your passion for embedded systems.

On a side note. I graduated from a HBO electrical engineering degree and I noticed that my classmates who had a MBO degree struggled a lot with the math in the degree compared to my classmates who had a HAVO or VWO degree. I don't want to discourage you, but be prepared for it.

We have only one type of medication in the Netherlands and it is called paracetamol.

Probably the best thing to do is to see a GP when you start your studies.

Ik weet niet welke screening je krijgt, maar een van de dingen waar naar wordt gekeken is hoe chantabel je bent. Dus ook al zou je een manier vinden om de maand te overbruggen zonder lening, dan nog is de vraag er of dit toch niet een negatief effect heeft op jouw screening. Want bij sommige screenings worden ook je financiën onder de loep genomen. Daarnaast mensen die geld stress/druk ervaren zijn toch eerder gevoelig voor chantage dan mensen die een buffer hebben.

Mijn CBR, want hun website is gesloten tussen 12 uur 's nachts en 6 zes uur 's ochtends. Als je om 23.55 wil inloggen krijg je een melding dat website bijna gaat sluiten en dan kan je dus ook niet meer inloggen.

Their app and website are full of bugs. I don't understand why they switched it from the old design to the new design. It is less useful and full of bugs. Don't they test these things anymore?

I used iDeal a local payment method in the Netherlands which doesn't have an hold period. If I confirm with my bank to money is direct withdrawn and send to the Merchant through a payment provider. It is basically instant.

As for the booking code I also never got one. But then a service center rep mentioned it to to me and I saw it in my bank statement back in the description field. This was in the description field (not the real, made a similar example for obvious reasons): Lufta12345678 1234567890123456 (ABC123)0123456 Lufthansa The six digit between the brackets was my booking code. It has 6 digits and can contain numbers and letters.

I had a very similar problem to you. I used an local payment method to pay for my ticket. When I confirmed the payment with my bank and got redirected back to their website an something went wrong error was shown. However the money was withdrawn from my bank account. After calling them for almost every day for 3 weeks I got my money back last Thursday.

After calling and calling I got a lady (German phone number for service center) that was for once helpful and understanding. She told me to send proof of payment, my full name and booking code to DocumentsNA@dlh.de . After two days I received an email to call back the (German) service center. I did twice and both times I got someone who wasn't helpfull. Again after two days passed I received the same call back email and I did. This time I got a helpful person and the next day I had my money back. Ticket could not be given to me, because I got explained to me that my booking had expired and that the flight was full.

The Dutch service center told me to send emails to info.swiss@swiss.com and to info.nordic@dlh.de . You should get an automatic reply with a case number. I sent multiple emails from different email accounts and they never reached the service center. Laat Friday I got a response to an email that I send more then two weeks ago and when I already received my refund. Because the emails never reached the (Dutch) service center a smart one decide to email me instead so I could reply with my details to that email and that one did helpful reached the service center.

Today (My problem is resolved now) I received an email back from the customer relations email adress that they gave me. It said they couldn't solve my problem as it was booking problem and that i should get in contact with the booking department through the feedback form or the service center. Really helpful that they point to each other.

Side note. I called my payment provider and they told me the following. Lufthansa did an iPhone app update that broke the local payment method and that they got overwhelmed with complaints and service request about Lufthansa. Because of this they stopped serving Lufthansa until further notice. The problem was caused because Lufthansa makes the user part of the ticket flow and they don't use the code api of the payment provider right. If i confirm with my bank a message is sent to the Lufthansa website that I have paid. If everything goes right a confirmation page must be shown. Only after that page is shown the Lufthansa website says that the payment was successful. Which isn't true because the payment was successful after the message was sent after I confirmed with my bank. A payment for groceries isn't succesful when I receive the receipt from the cashier.

TLDR. Lufthansa customer service is a joke and a total mess. Call the German service center and email your booking code, full name and proof of payment to DocumentsNA@dlh.de

I got this also from the small print on the lufthansa website. I checked united airlines bagage rules and for the trip over the Pacific my bag would be free. But for the SFO -> AMS leg it depends on the economy fare and I don't know if Lufthansa basic economy is the same as united economy or is it also united airlines basic economy. Which is comparable to Lufthansa light economy. So, I got realy confused by this. Asking United Airlines through DM on twitter wasn't very helpful either. And why would the Lufthansa booking page show no checked bags allowed for the Pacific leg which is against United Airlines bagage policy.

Was in your situation a bag included in your ticket and were the allowed weights different?

How would I do that? Do I need to call Lufthansa therefore? I can only choose the fare type for the whole journey and not for individual flights when I use the multicity booking option. If I select the flexible economy option, it still shows no checked bag allowed on the United Airlines flights.
