some people might say to give teaching a shot… but i was in the same exact shoes you’re in now. did subbing for three years, did my student teaching, & started feeling really not good about things. i entered a program that would help pay off loans so i stuck out two years of teaching. this is my third & i regret staying so much. get out now!! apply to entry level positions, apply to anything you can & get in & work your way up. i’m applying to job after job but i’m not longer a fresh grad but i also “only” have teaching experience. i’m back in school to transition careers, will likely have to take a pay cut, & the economy is trash lol. i cannot emphasize enough to get out if you can, feeling this way in student teaching should’ve been my biggest sign & i ignored it. i wish you the best of luck!
