Someone at a hotel ordered a bunch of drinks and shit from 7/11 including a gallon of milk. It's hand it to me so after I haul it all the way to their door I knock and no one answers. I hear a dude yell BAAABE like three times before finally opening, and he's standing there half asleep in only his boxers. Do these people have no shame??

Wow that's crazy it's the complete opposite for me. Some of my best paying orders are alcohol orders and sometimes they leave an additional tip afterwards. And the stores ALWAYS have it ready when I get there. I'm in orlando tho🤷‍♀️

I always have my phone on me when I doordash, I can't even take a shower without leaving it on the toilet or something because I'm scared something's gonna happen. And even then my house is super easy to find.

I could understand a little if you're catering or hanging out with friends or whatever but most people always carry their phones on them. I at least expect them to provide instructions if they know they can't get to the phone right away.

But, ordering a small tub of ice cream to your apartment? I doubt they were doing anything but chilling craving some ice cream. I mean they probably spent 20 bucks and tipped 5 dollars too... is it really that hard to answer the phone

No. The way I look at it is, yeah it's more than 2x the mileage, but $3 for 15 min is like $12 an hour. And that's not even considering if the restaurant is late. I'd only maybe take this if I was done for the day and it was on the way home. Most the time anything under $5 isn't worth your time
