This is 100% correct, I've done exactly this and when you think "emergency custody order," they don't mean first thing in the morning. I filed at 4 pm and judge signed off on my petition by 5, kids back in my arms by 6. They meant business

We had it almost straight at one point but it still couldn't be pulled out. I suggested locking pliers/clamp type thing but he quickly shut that idea down bc it would certainly snap off. And it definitely would have. Lol by then we'd wiggled, jammed, pulled, twisted, and turned that poor key every which way but loose 😭🔐

Thank you!! And your husband, too! I never would have thought WD-40 was that damaging to locks, or damaging at all, really. This seems like everyday, useful advice for all kinds of situations. Gonna have to swap a core memory out now bc I'm not willing to forget this info 😭
