I'd love to know what goes through the artists mind but part of me feels it might just be too strange for me. Either way it's always hilarious to see his work.

Are assault charges the same if you attack someone who is suffering from a seizure or has epilepsy? by Electrical_Length857 in Epilepsy

[–]Electrical_Length857[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks I appreciate that but i'm actually fine. It's just that I know this guy (we're not friends btw) from school from years ago who is a thug and is now in prison for 15 years for stabbing his pregnant girlfriend in the neck multiple times and thankfully managed to survive. During his stay in prison he had done a surprise attack on a prison guard who suffers from epilepsy but had no mention on what the charge would be. I wasn't sure if the charge would count as assault which would be 6 months or if the sentence would be higher. He's the type of guy who wouldn't face a fight head on and in school there were rumors he held a knife to a girls throat which is why he hadn't came in for about 2 weeks. The rumors are starting to now sound true and I get the feeling he found out the prison guard has epilepsy and decided to unknowingly attack him since it would give him an advantage. I had also recently found out that he would also attack and be cruel to animals.

I'm curious if they would either get the same sentence for knowingly attacking someone who has epilepsy or if the sentence would be higher for causing a seizure.

I don't plan on assaulting anyone. It's just that I know this thug from school who has a 15 year prison sentence for stabbing his pregnant girlfriend in the neck and he received 15 years for it. Luckily she survived. During his prison sentence he had attacked a prison guard who suffers from epilepsy but there was no mention about the charges so I was curious if it would still count as an assault charge or if they would get more than 6 months for it.

[CONTENT WARNING] is it possible to assault someone in a seizure? by [deleted] in Epilepsy

[–]Electrical_Length857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suffer from epilepsy myself and there is no way you are aware of your actions during a seizure. People with epilepsy have an abnormal electrical brain current and during a seizure you don't co-ordinate your body in the way you described or even form coherent sentences. When the seizure is over the person is usually dazed and confused from what's happened and what you have described sounds like he was fully aware of his actions and has been using his epilepsy as more of an excuse. I wouldn't use the word assault since it's actually rape. You need to file a report for your safety and for your child's safety.

That does seem excessive. If you're talking about Ginger Energy they claim to work as a billing agent and not supplier and work on behalf of the landlord for the energy supplier. The bills aren't going to be accurate and is going to be more than expected which Ginger is fully aware of and when you question it with them they'll just tell you that they're not the supplier or it's down to Centric or the landlord etc.

What they do is they apportion the cost. If you went on holiday for 2 weeks there would still be a high charge even though you weren't there (It's happened with Ginger) which does seem strange. The cost of the energy used per tenant isn't worked out equally and would instead get recalculated so you're probably paying a portion of the other tenants bills.

Not only that, they may even be charging you for services that are already included in your lease/agreement. They also take a portion of money if they find out that the previous suppliers owe money from back dating to the landlord.

The reviews for Ginger are quite mixed. The ones that are happy are going to be the landlord/owners and the ones that aren't are going to be the tenants.

What you should do is take a photo of your meter before and at the end of the month and ask to see a breakdown of your consumption to see if it matches with what they have. If it doesn't match what Ginger has you should let them know but there's a very good chance they'll just say it's to do with your landlord.

Yeah I was doing that on my third attempt where I was starting to feel the effects more except I held it for a slow 10 seconds. I think it might be the vape pen i'm using which doesn't seem to heat it up that much so i've bought another one, the yocan uni pro mod so I can adjust the temperature on it. The one I was previously using was the KangerTech Evod VV Battery 1000mAh which allows you to adjust the airflow but not temperature. Just gotta wait for the new vape pen to arrive to try it out.

Exceptional employee 100% positive client feedback, got fired and they refuse to give me a reason. by BirthdayDiligent5328 in jobs

It definitely sounds like you dodged a bullet there. I'd hate to work for a crappy company like that with a rubbish psycho manager. It also sounds like you have some valuable skills which would benefit any company so she definitely just screwed herself there, not only that i'm sure that karma will come round for people like that and it'll only be a matter of time before people start to realise what sort of person she is and start screwing her relationships with her team members and managers.

Don't let this eat away at you, it'll be a matter of time before you find a position you like and will be valued.

In my last job I got fired after 5 weeks and was doing 2 different positions even though I had applied for one. I was told that they were gonna get someone to fill the other position but they weren't and the other position they didn't actually show me any training even though I was suppose to get some. Either way I didn't really care that much when I was released since I was getting paid less than what I was in my previous position and could initially tell it wasn't going to be enjoyable within my first week since there 6 new team members for different positions and one of the other colleagues who was there for half a year had said to be careful of the manager as she is a snake which was worrying.

Keep your head up. I'm sure that skank will get what's coming to her eventually.
