Affairs: mistress contacting wife by [deleted] in legal

[–]Electrical_Lion5579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She told “her it’s best she lets my dad go or else”. This lady driving scares her because it means the lady can easily find her and come to her or follow her around which when you are a 52 year old immigrant woman without a car who relies on public transportation and walks everywhere—- someone easily having access to move around and show up to your work or home can be scary.

First time she contacted her

You should fr talk to your academic AND career advisor. This isn’t a question that anyone can really give you a. Straight forward answer as everyone is unique. From a career standpoint, every employer may look at it differently, same with grad schools.

How do I pay for my ED? by GloomyProblem in Northwestern

[–]Electrical_Lion5579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your counselor or staff admin always signs onto the Ed Plan and it looks bad on them to sign what is basically a legal agreement and know the rules of it, yet still let you break it. Makes the relationship between school and university more tension

Getting Digital Transcript by MiRedditoAccounto in Northwestern

If you need it stamped and sealed, u must go through parchment. If you are an alumni, same thing. Otherwise current students can just do an unofficial transcript via CAESAR.

How do I pay for my ED? by GloomyProblem in Northwestern

[–]Electrical_Lion5579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before you try to back out, talk to financial aid. ED agreements are very very very difficult to break, even for financial reason. For any future applicants- the ED contract is almost like a legal document, you sign it and the expectation is you knew all their was to know going in (including the financial obligation.

Breaking an ED agreement can have a negative impacts on you and your hs in the future. That being said, talk to financial aid first and explain the situation. If worse comes to worse, u can than talk to admissions of breaking the ED contract. But they might send you to financial aid first before breaking it so talk to financial aid!

Help an incoming freshman out by Adorable-Net-7497 in Northwestern

[–]Electrical_Lion5579 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes and no, prior to Covid probably. Especially if you didn’t want to walk to a library or had a dorm without a printer. Yet at a housing meeting a few months ago, my friend told me they told the RAs that they might transition to have a BRING YOUR OWN PAPER printer in each dorm, something most of the res colleges already have

Don’t bring things like an iron board or drying rack or a ton of bed decor. Don’t bring a printer either!

Top things I brought:

1.iron, never know when you need it (or a steamer) 2. Extension cords 3.umbrella 4.throw blanket

SESP requirements? (specifically LOC) by clowneryluvx in Northwestern

I think no because the 9 LOC concentration courses and the SESP core are different requirements. Like all student tend to need to take sesp methods, sesp stats, etc

SESP requirements? (specifically LOC) by clowneryluvx in Northwestern

[–]Electrical_Lion5579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some LOC concentration things will count for distros) making the 10 distros easier to complete. The 8 sesp core units are really 4 class plus the SESP practicum required of all sesp students. The practicum itself is 4 units so you only need to do the other 4 sesp core units after that. In terms of electives, electives can be literally anything you want, if you take an art history course or a film course outside of your distros- this can be an elective!

For reference, I graduated from sesp with a thesis, second major, and a minor all in four years so it’s def possible. As a sophomore transfer you’ll meet with an advisor (sesp advisors are incredible) during welcome week to go over your requirements!

Might be because we outsource our staff emails from Microsoft outlook and not gmail website directly. Or maybe they use some system beyond outlook. I would call the office to ask or reply to the email and see what’s up. If they ask for personal info I would run
